Yess, this will be good stuff. Though I do not think simply buffing skills will essentially get them more skillbar time. I still dont see the need to deviate from my current monk build, maybe give SSS another chance, but thats about it.
I really like the idea of the Hall of Heroes, but when a blue post stated it was not making it on release I was bummed.
Since then, we have had speculation that the HoH will exsist, especially since those lines of code have been pulled for the latest patch.
I am excited that the HoH is going to be in the game, but in other's opinions, do you think it will be out and fully functional, with descriptions of Heroic deeds etc, upon release?
Since Hardcore tanks one playthrough to unlock, (which will not take long) perhaps Blizzard is expecting to bring a full graphical implementation after release.
What do all the Hardcore players think? Am I just being paranoid? Did I miss something about it being available at release.
In regards to market saturation, one thing to consider is that breaking down valuable items will be useful. Also scrolls of reforging will also be there to randomize an item that might not have exactly what you want. So technically, I could buy an epic item that is not even for my class then reforge it. If reforging fails to meet my expectations, then I have the ability to salvage it for valuable components. This actually increase the need for more items out there.
Also, i would assume if you took a raw max dps item and notched the max number of sockets in it, that would also be of value. With all the twinking PvP possibilities as well, I think the market will be pretty solid for a while and as mentioned earlier, since blizzard makes only a flat rate, it is up to us to make prices fair. If we gouge we do not sell our items, but blizzard still gets their cut, I do not think that will upset blizzards economy too much anyways.
There is a lot more value to the item than just the item this time around in D3. I do not think you will see market saturation very soon, and this is just a win for us players so we have even more loot possibilities.
Monk temple idea was just bad. It didn't look very good and overall seemed silly.
I also agree that the Blizz speakers need to practice their scripts and overhaul their word usage a lot. I know it's about the products, but they are seriously terrible at public speaking it seems. I remember some of them making me cringe from bad usage of the word 'awesome' and lots of pauses and "umm"s during last years BlizzCon. Shame they haven't improved
I know others don't like the Demon Hunter pets, but I think they're pretty cool and fit well. I certainly look forward to using Call of the Ancients on my barb too, runed to decrease cooldown for maximum usage ofc
Heh, I agree on both fronts. I was really excited to play the monk, but after seeing the pillar and bell skils I am not too sure. I am really not liking the monks asthetic at this point.
And for public speaking, I mean gamers are generally much better writers than speakers but cmon, how hard would it be to attend a toastmasters event prior to the show. It would cost pennies to them and it has been very beneficial to lots of businesses around the world.
As I savage the internet for the full panel video I come to a loss, I did find this little tidbit on youtube though. I swear if he says awesome one more time...
I would think by default that the Kick would also be an AoE hench the roundhouse factor. And an application of the Jet Li Rune it would add some kind of effect.
Hey guys I have been lurking for about a year now and decided to actually join the forum. I have to say this is the best source for upcoming Diablo 3 info period.
Kudos to the news team on extractin the very latest tidbits from multiple sources.
It is nice to meet all of you, I will probably go posting in other forums regarding Mythos and such (wondering if it is any good). I did beta Darkspore and it was defenitly different, but Im not too big on the having several teams of characters, I like to to tweak the hell out of just one toon at a time. ALthough, I thought it was prety great in many ways.
Anyways I will stay a while and post!
