If you have a drive to know the material you will do well, an instructor is simply going to get your feet wet in the application, the honing of your skills will take much more time and effort. In my classes 1 out of every 10 students put in the effort to make a career for themselves, the others were wasting their time and money.
So the moral of the story is if you have a real passion to get into 3D animation or graphic arts there is nothing that will stop you if you are hell bent on it.
I whole heartily agree. I'm graduating in a week with a Bachelor Art degree and so many of my classmates just did not care about their classes.
The only 3D program I've had experience with is Maya. I love it, the learning curve feels pretty steep but once you learn the different aspects of the program you won't even have to think about it. It becomes like riding a bike or driving car.
Best advice is to learn the hotkeys. Hotkeys make life a lot easier.

A magic-find system which gives higher level magic items when the character has a higher magic-find rating.
If you're going down the "diablo 2" path: having a lottery to get any magic item, but a higher chance of it happening is such a system that should be left out.

Wow, your fire sorc's name is funny and wrong. Something like that would go through most filters too. Maybe the only option is to let people choose completely themselves and if theres a certain amount of people complaining about it then you are given the option to rename that character or they give you a name.

The power cut out for a few minutes because of a thunderstorm in the area. But that was during my favorite part... when the movie stopped someone shouted "alright time to pack another bowl".

The hype is really just in any one person's mind. Between people going to school and work, hanging out with friends and playing games that are currently out theres not a whole lot of time to get influenced by it.
Blizzard is going to release info bit by bit to keep the public interested. That's just good marketing, and I want them to do it because it shows me that they think I the player/customer/consumer is important.
Shows that they care about the game they're making and when they care that much to keep the public posted during the final developments well its going to be a better game and experience for all of us.
Look at what's happened with Starcraft Ghost, what happened with that? The players were looking at the direction Blizzard was taking and at least I was confused about how a stealth unit, a ghost, would be all intense combat.
Bottom line is I'm interested, I can't wait. We know what Diablo 3 is going to be like, its not entirely new but its a refreshing reimagination of something we already enjoy.

No emotes because in Diablo there isn't a long wait between doing things. You join a game and then go. Isn't not like WOW waiting for a Pick up group or your Guild to get there stuff in gear to raid or whatever.

When I can feel that parts of a movie are reflecting the current state of affairs I like it more. There were several that I thoroughly enjoyed especially since they were so well meshed into the Batman universe.
Since it’s not a spoiler mentioning lines from the trailers the
The night is always darkest before the dawn
was one of those moments. Though I wish it was commenting about gas prices, certainly some things will be changing for the better that we can still have hope for.
Like Battle.net and D3

It seems like I've played with hundreds of awesome people then never seen them again cause I can't find them.
The ability to use L as an I and vice versa in the font used online always threw me off and I'd not be talking to the right person. Same thing with 0 and o in account names.
Hmm, about that lately games have been hiding account names from public view so that only other people can get to see your character name. I wonder how that will play out.

Because it is an occy ring, again hacked to have the stats of an occy but on the ring.
That SOJ ring reminded me of the Diablo 1 Dreamflange dupe-tacular-ness.
Anyone have a picture of one of those items, it brought down your character's health but it didn't matter.

Ok ok. But I really hate /dance. Especially people without any armor equiped /dance near me.
Male Tauren...

For anyone who hasn't seen it. Go see it.
If I didn't know Ledger was the Joker I would never had guessed it, what a great actor...

Teleportation... just died pretty quick.
