If I were you, I wouldn't be sharing your conversations publicly. The EA support reps were excellent. They told you exactly what you asked them and despite your rude behavior, continued to calmly tell you they couldn't do anything and told you why.
You didn't read the terms and conditions regarding the time zone issue, were a jackass to the support reps who were doing their job, and you actually think you can seek legal action. Wow.... Or better yet, how about you don't wait until the last minute to pre-order.
uhm? I did read it? you obviously missed something, they couldnt even find the stipulation for the time zones, and they work/support this product. He had to AFK for 15 minutes to try and find it, and couldnt, then came back and said ya ur right. Nt tho, stop being an EA flameboyfanboi. its not about being an jackass, it's about being correct, being a consumer, being given the product I payed for using a service, and was denied, its a legal issue, its bad PR, and it's wrong.
I understand your needing to vent after spending time with CS and having your issue unresolved. That does suck that you didn't get into the beta. However, you are coming off as a little immature. You obviously haven't dealt with a lot of customer service departments if you think this is the "worse customer service on the face of the planet". It gets much worse than this, trust me.
Also, bitching at the CS rep and threatening stuff like "PR nightmare" is certainly not going to help the situation. The bottom line is that you got screwed out of the beta due to a technicality with the cutoff time. Shit like that can happen when you trying doing something at the last minute. It sucks. Learn from it and move on, it's not the end of the world.

From a somewhat outside perspective, this thread is completely incomprehensible. There's obviously some inside joke I'm missing out on that involves a lot of "o"s. I think I need to go watch the movie Idiocracy now.
I'm not sure I completely understand what you are saying, but I would suggest submitting a ticket at battle.net. The last time I submitted one I got a response within 24 hours.
I agree. I would always make a sorceress as my first ladder character. While I'm not going to say this video is conclusive, I'm OK with the game sticking to tradition. Despite the fact that sorc was usually the most viable class, I had plenty of fun with all the others. Game balance is overrated.
I'm curious how the matchmaking works in that game. I'm primarily a PC user, though I have access to a PS3 so I'm interested in the game. If I find a few friends who are into the game, is it easy to play with them? I know other games like Demon's Souls (this is probably a unique case) are hard to coordinate coop games with.
For any older gamers that remember Kings Field for PS1, this is made by the same people and is the spiritual successor, having a similar atmosphere and air of mystery. Gameplay-wise I almost want to compare it to the newer Resident Evil games, though I'm not even sure why since it doesn't have guns, just the pacing and immersion felt similar.
It's really hard to fully describe the game for someone who's never played it. It's not for everyone, if you like instant gratification or simple dumbed down button-mashers, this game is probably not for you. If you like deep, challenging action RPGs, this is worth getting a PS3 for if you were on the fence (in my opinion).
edit: Oh and I just remembered a great example of how hardcore this game is. On my first playthrough I was walking up to a second-tier trainer for the first time and accidentally hit the attack button. The NPC went hostile and I eventually had to kill them. There is no reloading to fix that mistake (the game autosaves constantly). I had to play the rest of the game without access to the higher tier spells (and I was primarily a magic user).
You might think that would have ruined the game for me but it really didn't. I was still able to finish the game, yes it kind of sucked that I didn't get to try out some of the newer spells, but it was almost refreshing to have to live with a mistake I made rather than simply reload the game.
I'm not trying to shoot you down or anything, but by most standards MAG would not be considered an MMO. Most games classified as MMO support thousands of players and have a broader scope of gameplay. Comparing it to WoW is like comparing Rhode Island to China (geographically speaking, no offense RI).
Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending WoW, it's just not in the same league as far as popularity and I'm pretty sure they don't intend it to be. Having said that, my roommate just got MAG and said a lot of good things about it, I can't wait to play it.
So really, it was worthless. All the "information" is a joke. Is this how all of his shows are or do some actually contain information?
Unfortunately all of his shows are like this. It really could be a good show if he would actually interview people and let the humor come naturally instead of trying so hard to be funny, staging skits that are worse than bad SNL. I want to like the show but it really feels like it's target audience is Dane Cook fans. That's great to see him wasting the time of all those Blizzard employees when they could be doing something more useful like doing real interviews or working on D3.

Loving the Conan the Barbarian reference.
