I think your gear is fine, you can always improve but there is no need to panic as far as your gear goes. I also play with few of my friends barb, monk, wizard and myself (DH). I try to use pots/ss to keep myself up.. reflect damage elites are direct counter of glass cannon DHs like myself. I have 50k dps w/o ss and 101k with ss. So here are my recommendations:
1. use pots/globes/ss to live through reflect damage elites... be patient you can't burn them as quickly as you would like
2. Since you have 20 Million coming in.. I would invest in a 1100+ bow with stats such as CHD, Convert % life based on damage dealt, dexterity, CHC...
3. Itemize your gear to increase the amount of base critical Hit chance and critical hit damage
Your choice of spells is much different than what I prefer but I suppose I have different play style...
@Mortar issue: I try to stay as close to the elites as possible and I let my barb friend control them for me.. the moment they come to close to me.. my evasive fire kicks in and I backflip...
Your stats are much higher than mine..
I am doing act 2/3 with 51k dps with ss and roughly 25k hp....
The invisible snakes really destroy me... I can't slow them down or kite them... i have to use caltrop and SS to kill those annoying things... but I will give Maghda a try..
and Yes make sure you have 5 stacks before killing warden.. I missed that part out
Hey everyone,
I looked through few threads and could not find what I was looking. The main purpose of this thread is to help out your fellow Demon Hunters.
Q: What is a good place to farm on Inferno Act 1?
A: I used to do a lot of butcher run. I can't remember the exact quest name, I believe it is called "Imprisoned Angel". Basically you start off with killing the warden quest. You generally get enough stacks by the time you butcher. If due to RNG you do not have 5 stacks by the time you get to Butcher, go to the cemetery checkpoint and go in any one of the crypts. There will be a blue guy waiting for you.
Q: What is a good place to farm on Inferno Act 2?
A: None... Act 2 is horrible for DH's I try to go through it as quick as possible
Q: What is a good to farm on Inferno Act 3?
A: 1) I have done 2 seigebreaker runs. Apparently these run are pretty painless depending on your gear and skills. I will start at the "Crossing Quest" I will make my way to the Siegebreaker door and then I will teleport back and take the "bridge of koriskk" check point I will try to get my 5 stacks up in the catapult area. That area usually has 5 to 6 elite mob encounters.
2) I have also heard of the chest runs before... not entirely sure what that is.. can someone please post information about it? thanks!
Q: What is a good place to farm on Inferno Act 4?
A: I have not done Act 4 yet, once I am on it... I will update this information. I am sure someone will mention good farming spots in Act 4
Ok, that is about it for now... If you know a better place than I do.. please share that information with everyone else
This is the built I have been using to do Inferno Act 1, 2 (I skipped Bilial... could not kill him at all but now I will try it again with my new build) and Act 3 (farming Seigebreaker right now)
Hey everyone,
I saw a post sometime ago.. this guy did the math for which is better and according to his calculation 2h bow was better than 2h xbow... I will try to post a link here once I find it.
