First off, I think the game is absolutely amazing and I am enjoying ever minute I can spend playing it
From what I have seen on reddit, blizz forums, and here, many people think, "Oh hey, since I paid money, I should be able to get amazing drops every time I kill an elite/boss and totally dominate all the time."
Sorry, no.
The people that do get really good gear say the game is too easy, where the others that don't, complain that it is too hard.
For me, D3 is about constant unending farming for better gear. Once I get one toon decked out, I move on to another toon. I think that goes for a lot of people, but that is not all you can do. You can play the AH (in D2 is was the trade channels) to amass wealth. If that doesn't suit you, try Hardcore mode. Pretty soon PVP will be implemented, so that will offer yet another aspect for people to tool around with. Oh yeah, by the way, it's also a great game to not take seriously and play with some of your pals AND it doesn't have a monthly fee.
My point is, if you don't enjoy what you are doing in the game, evaluate what it is you like, and look to find that aspect in Diablo III. This game brings a lot to the table and it will continue to evolve.
tl;dr
The game has been out less than two weeks. Anyone who says Blizzard failed or the game sucks, is being completely unrealistic. Things are going to change. You won't like all of the changes all the time, but nothing is set in stone. Find an aspect of the game that you enjoy and focus on that. otherwise, go do something else.
I am really excited to see all of these keys being available to win. I have just about given up on getting into the beta, but you never know. Good luck everyone.
