although i don't really understand the question, I think that as long as you are giving money to blizzard, they could really care less about losing 60$, they are hoping that you forget about the annul pass and just play diablo 3, they make enough money off of that alone, now I'm sure they are also hoping that those are the same people that use the RMAH, and buy virtual items overpriced
Blizzard knew they'd lose a ton of subscribers with the pandalandpark expansion so they came up with a way to keep WoW numbers up, plus a year of wow = 3 times more money than D3.
I found this interview by looking at the source code of the page for the beta announcement of D3. It's a short interview but it has some pretty cool stuff, I'm not sure if it was part of the press kit or not. I'm also not sure why it's not available from the side menu on the page, maybe it was meant to be released later?
Interesting tidbit about D3's difficulty modes. Kevin mentions "hell and inferno" as being the games harder difficulty modes, I'm curious if it goes Normal, Nightmare, Hell, Inferno?
This picture shows that Nightmare difficulty is indeed in the game. Four difficulty modes!?!
That's bullshit, i would say they have about 70-80% of the game done, he said this so they can push the launch into mid 2011, and not dim the sales of cataclysm.
I sure as hell hope you're right... I definitely feel that 2011 is now a done deal
With Blizzcon closing in and with it a good bit of new information, it’s about time to start reviewing what we already know. Here are a few things we know for sure:
Character Classes
There will be 5 character classes for the game. The Barbarian The Witch Doctor The Wizard The Witch Doctor
The fifth and final class is still a mystery that will hopefully be unveiled in Blizzcon. The archer archetype is still missing so it’s relatively safe to assume it will be something like that, but with Blizzard you can’t really be sure about anything.
Woah, the monk was renamed Witch Doctor?
Isn't that going to be really confusing, considering they have another class also named Witch Doctor?
As scheduled, Blizzard has released the a new armor set. This time it is the female Wizard featured in a red plate mail armor. It is interesting to see how something as "heavy" as plate mail we be worn buy someone of a lighter feel. Keep in mind that every class will be able to wear every type of armor. While still keeping the plate mail, they have also incorporated the robes of the wizard keeping its unique look to the class.

they need to give us at least a year to play before the world ends, blizz isn't stupid.
looks very nice, fitting for a barbarian, still looks somewhat feminine despite the massive armor and shoulder pads
