He just needs to say he accidentally deleted it, which is exactly what happened. Blizzard CS is intelligent enough to know that no one would ever delete their best character for no reason...

It's so sad that I actually went back to D2 to just do baal/mf runs, I'm not even kidding here.
And you think inferno in diablo3 is dumbed down compared to baalrun and mf runs? Are you trolling? This thread is hopeless.
Inferno in Diablo 3 is just plain f****ing stupid. It's hard in a bad way. Even if you do everything right and have powerful gear you still get owned like a bitch, kite>owned>kite>owned. It's not even fun, it's mindless garbage.
In my opinion, having a challenge is better than doing the same mindless baal runs all day long even though you can do it without even opening your eyes.

Blizzard DID make it possible for you to over level content.... (its really a shame that you can't say... go to act 1 normal and help a buddy out)
If it's a buddy, you should have him in your friend list. If you have him in your friend list, he can invite you in his game any time. Therefore, you can help your buddy in act 1 normal even if you are lvl 60 in inferno.

It's not like the guest pass will do you any good, you only have 3 hours of play in that part of the game. That's without mentionning that if you just rush it and don't epxlore evertyhing, it drops to an hour and a half MAX.

Sorry to not always be on the forums... I personally don't click on every new topic so I dont see any spoilers (which worked out quitenwell up to now). I just posted this in case someone like me who doesn't lurk forums 24/7 wanted to be informed of it.
If you have nothing to add on the subject, just don't post please. This is just a warning thread to make people who didn't know yet (that includes me) that spoilers are officially out.

I don't understand that kind of thinking. if you really want to play like in D2, feel free to make a build which you will not change and create a new character to get a new build. Even though the game lets people change skills, it is not mandatory. You can play the way you want to play.
If what's fun for you is creating new characters to try out new builds as low-level with the same character, then go ahead and create a 2nd character of the same class. Nothing is forbidding you from doing it.

I often found myself TRYING to sit on Facebook for hours trying to get the keys, but I eventually get bored, do something else, come back, press F5 and miss the key by 20 min.
This time aorund, I was there on time... but did not know the answer so I googled for 2 seconds, answered and I was the 100th person to answer.

Have you tried launching it in admin mode? (right-click -> Run as administrator) If it doesn't work, try to launch it as admin AND in compatibility mode.
Never had a problem besides the admin thing on my computer (Win 7 Pro 64-bit)

From what I can see, the druid is the most sought character from the old games. If Blizz does the same as they did with RealID forums, public chat, and other older events and listen to the community, they will had it.
If there are 2 characters per expansion, they will probably add an old character and a new one. That way, they would keep up with their "bringing old characters back" trend (D1 warrior = dark wanderer in d2, barb comes back in d3) and I am sure the community would love to see a character they played with 10 years ago come back with brand new flashy skills.

think it will be ok, cos of the different time zones in the world
it will have heavy traffic
Many people, whatever their time zone is, will be up to play this game as fast as possible. Blizzard has built the hype for this game over 4 years, there will surely be AT LEAST 1 million people/server on midnight launch.
I will not be one of them though, as I actually have a life

This topic doesn't help fix it : there are already tons of topics of that kind. If you would rather not see those topics every once in a while, stop visiting the forums and you are good.
Many people also lurked the forums a lot and this contest made them create the account, so not everyone actually asks old questions since long-time lurkers first time-posters read the forums for a while.

I think that all the game will be soloable if you have the good talents. Playing Inferno and being a barb with full tank runes and talents should be easy to play, but I think it will be really boring. But the gear will be really important? I played on diablo 2 and one of my characters, a paladin, died playing hardcore outside of the village and it was really frustrating to me... And I had a good gear, but some Spike Fiends Instadeleted all my hours in that character, here comes my advice, play carefully if you go solo in Inferno or have some friends that goes first in the battles, you always can run
You just said that it would be possible to solo Inferno with a barb with full tank runes and gear, which excludes the more squishy characters from doing it like the wizard and the demon hunter. I sure hope it is possible to solo all difficulties with every build, but it<s just not possible unless every character is buffed and get overpowered to the monsters in normal/nightmare/hell, which would kill the game, IMO.
