Even if it was a team effort, we'd be delusional to think it was the only group doing it. But to get to 100 that much faster than anyone else is truly a feat.
Sold +70 resist stormshield and a 1080dps 1h for $50 a piece. If people are actually selling at $250, more power to them. I'll take what I got all day, every day ^^
65 hours is more time than a lot of my games get. I don't understand why they refunded your money.
It was a hopeful grind, I was trying my best to be optimistic that it will get better and enjoy the game. Unfortunately that never happened. Besides, like I wrote, I lost items on the AH due to the idiotic bugs, too laggy etc. But that was just technical things, I'm sure you'll understand why I REALLY don't like it. Anyways, I thank Diablo 2/LOD for good teenage memories, it was a simpler time.
I just don't see it. If I don't like a game I don't spend 65 hours on it.
Like other posters on here stated, Diablo is a franchise that is meant to be replayed. What is the point of AH and RMAH then and the different builds and randomized events? Why would someone be expected to spend real life money for a one-time run through game? Seriously, do you think the whole content is worth the $60? Let's be reasonable here. The game does not have the replay value like it's predecessor, imo, no scratch that, it's a fact.
It's possible to find some "keepers" in act1 hell. But I think if you arn't playing the AH even a little, you are missing out on a lot of upgrades. It's cheaper than you'd think, if you just always check when you can
I gotta say I agree 100% here. Having cleared my way first through hell all the way to level 60, I was uphauled to find that playing through inferno would offer nothing new in terms of gameplay. Same old shit again and again.
Obligatory "You never played D2, did you?"
How many times did you kill baal? How many pindleskin runs? It's the same exact thing...
The game isn't old enough to have found the perfect gear. Calm down peeps.
Yes I did. A lot actually. I have a level 98 hammerdin on the current ladder in fact. So yeah, I tried it once or twice.. I do see your point, though, and at first glance I would agree - it does seem like it would be the same. Yet somehow it doesn't feel the same, imo. In D2 you weren't worn out doing the same runs again and again, maybe because you were pretty sure on getting a worthy reward before too long. In D3 it becomes tedious so quickly. Somehow the replayability of this game is a lot lower than in its predecessor.
You're right. I expected to get a worthy reward from pindle within 100 runs. I also was wearing 600+ MF. I have less than 100 now (including Neph buff). It will get better...
I agree with some of the things you say here, but one thing that is absolutely not true is "Only 1 of the 3 main stats is useful for any single class". They're all useful, it's just that the main stat is more useful, which is totally acceptable.
About legendaries not being as powerful as blues and rares: This isn't necessarily true, it just means that you haven't rolled one with increased damage.
6m people playing and not a single legendary has ever been found to not be trumped by a FREAKING BLUE
Ridiculous claim. Obviously you are only looking at dps. Perfect legendaries have not been found yet, or have not been on the AH yet. Let the game grow...
Edit- check the AH now. Legendary warmonger - 1150 dps to go along with its great stats that no blue has. And that legendary still isn't perfect.

Game is abit of a letdown simply because legendary items have little to no value so there is nothing to 'pursue' once you've beaten inferno, the story was good tho.
This I don't get. Perfect legendaries are still going to be the most saught after items. Some rares are better than legendaries, sure. It was the same in D2.
Need more dps. Hunt the AH for a high dps wpn. As for dying, we're a melee class, and even with kiting we're going to die a lot. That just means you have to kill them before, or as, they're killing you.
Edit - I went from 7k dps and 72k hp (thinking survivability was the way), to 18k dps and 40k hp and I smoke act1 inferno. Starting to chip at act2.
this is EXTREMELY disappointing. when items were first released on the d3 website, there was more than DOUBLE these amounts of items. i mean theres only one level 60 hand crossbow? like this literally CANT be the final list of items. i dont care if this stretegy guide was from blizzard themselves. there is WAY too few items. legendary and set. especially if theyre saying you will have to farm hell for act 1 inferno, farm act 1 inferno for act 2 inferno, act 2 inferno for act 3 inferno, and act 3 inferno for act 4 inferno.
with all that farming demon hunters get ONE hand crossbow? no. this cant be right.
For god sakes man, please read subsequent posts before flaming. Fool.
sorry, i fail to see your point. if youre refering to the point of there being random named legendaries with random affixes, if you scroll up to the first post on this page, youll see jays response that there are no random named legendaries with random affixes because that is no different than a rare. there may be a legendary that has all its stats random, but it still has a set name. if youre refering to another post, i dont see it. i was simply stating that it was a disappointment that the list of items on the strategy guide was so small.
200+ legendaries at launch is a large list of items. I'm not sure what you're looking for from them.

Lemme get a slice. Too much jelly up in here.

Congrats!
I'm replaying the shit out of this game. Fact.
Better items are being found and AH'd every day. It's going to get easier.

No. Things were way less random in D2. Yeah, we can see a legendary meant for barbs with INT on it. It happens. RNG baby.
We're months away from seeing the perfect allocation of RNG stats on items in D3. Keep hunting!!

Yeah as the other person stated, I went to 18k dps. 29k is really good, how's your armor/hp/resist?
