A lot of the copyright issues are if you are going to monetize your work... If you're doing it for a school project, or simply a free app then I would be extremely surprised to see you be attacked by any sort of copyright takedown.
Sticking rune combinations into then to make them. The suspense of seeing how it rolls after you stick the runes into place. The fact that runewords harbored some of the most powerful and original / game play changing items. (Enigma for teleport, etc..). The fact that you get to choose your base, so superior or crude base items actually made a difference. Versatility of common runewords early on during the leveling process. Different runewords featured for different seasons, incentive to play season, and differentiating 1 season from another. The adding of interesting future runewords to help fill itmlemization gaps. Giving the player a feeling that they have collected all of the required items, and manually forging your runeword rather than just gambling or forging at the blacksmith. I can go on and on if you want me to.
Uniques have the same suspense as when you ID them, uniques can harbor powerful stats the same as runewords did (whats the difference between having a unique with teleport or it being on a runeword), choosing your base was a visual thing only really and you can transmog now so? Versatility again uniques can do the exact same thing, you can also just make certain uniques season only same for adding future uniques to fill itemization gaps (infact that is what they do), collected all the required items ehm... sets and lets face it you just traded for the runes you didn't exactly go on a long journey collecting them all? Not really sure what you mean by "manually forging" your putting runes into sockets, it's hardly anything more than just IDing an item.
Pretty much everything you've said can also be applied to uniques. I see no difference at all between a unique and a runeword apart from the way you make the stats appear.
I personally think instead of making people stronger they need to add in things from d2, that where IMHO awsome.

Runewords were just an item, having a EBOTDZ was no different to having a eth death cleaver. It's not like they had customisable features or anything, they were literally just an item... What exactly is it everybody misses about runewords?
It's almost like drops based on RNG are random. Who'da funk it.
I don't understand how your relating broken RNG and gambling on other classes. Whats broken about it? Some classes have less boots in there loot table and as such there is a higher chance to get specific boots when gambling... Whats broken about that?
No idea what your going on about MF in D2 either, I played D2 since before expansion and MF always worked the same... There was no ancient conspiracy, you honestly just sound salty that you've not been lucky...
Ancient everything BIS gear rank 30 on the ladder with plenty of time to keep pushing If i felt up for it, only playing a few hours each day, never died on hardcore, did all the journeys.. what else is there?
The challenge rifts are okay but not that interesting.

The ladder started 6 days ago at a few hours a day your talking ~18 hours of play, rank 1s aren't even full ancient "bis" yet and those guys are doing like 10hrs/day. Link your profile, I wanna see this 18hr character that's rank 30 with full bis ancients.
On point of the lack of challenge... Pushing HC for rank 1 is challenging. There is a high risk of dying as you have go more and more glass cannon to meet the damage checks, i'd argue it's one of the more challenging things that exist in gaming at the moment.
No just no! Diablo3 is done - it was a test and big FAIL! ALL important devs and most ppl left this ship.
Plz Blizz dont spend more $$$ in this shit game, a lot better investment is D2 remastered with new quests/uniques/rw's/balance!

No clue about hardcore Rathma. That's probably the worst set to use for hardcore. If you want to push with a hardcore build then you should try my "Cursed Bones" build. I guarantee you will hardly die compared to any Rathman build and can push 80's with decent gear and decent paragon.
Why do you use stone of jordan in that build? Also wouldn't rose/pledge be better than ure ring/neck in that?
Not all Rathma Builds use Shadowhook. I'm not sure what curses you're talking about. Most Rathma builds use NO curses because every skill slot is used by a pet skill. Rathma technically is "short" 1 skill slot because a lot of builds should have Army of the Dead but it just can't fit unless you discard a needed skill. Unfortunately, most builds don't run Army of the Dead because of this.
Some Rathma builds use Cycle in cubed as well.
In HC running decrypt with dizzying curse is pretty standard.
From this general response though, if you are running a curse and aren't running simulacrum then trangs would actually be better than hook?
we've got curses up 100% of the time, so trangs is a flat +200% dmg. the shadowhook is 0.5%/ess.. so ud need 400 essence to match, which i'm pretty sure we don't hit so why? Is the 5 extra ess per spikes really worth the dmg loss?
Hey guys, i'm a little late to the party because I had to work :'(. I've got a lil' ole lv 30 necro... Any kind soul out there who could get me to 70 when I get home in around 5 hours?
So, I was playing last patch & the PTR just fine... Loaded into this patch and I'm getting massive FPS spikes?
I've even set all the settings to the lowest possible, and my FPS just spikes from 4 to 100 up and down... Every other game is fine so it's not my rig and D3 worked fine before the patch. Any1 else got any issues? Any advice?

Hi guys I got a scarbringer and I'm doing the LTK build (with sunwuko as I have just started so nowhere near ancient set)
It's rolled ~500 life per spirit spent, and ~2.4 spirit regen... I know resource cost is good, so is spirit regen also good? Which should I roll off?
Also I found an ancient rabid striker, which I know is used in the LoN variant... Can it have any place in the sunwuko set?
