That doesn't have all that much to do psychology of waiting, nor the waiting of a comic.
Kinda seems like the opposite, if I am in a heightened state of alert while waiting for the comic my brain will slow down time?

There's probably a whole section of psychology devoted to the psychology of waiting.
Probably. Must be a boring class, rather learn about the psychology of fears. Daemonophobia might be a fun subject.
Daemonophobia is defined as "a persistent, abnormal, and unwarranted fear of demons or daemons", each year this surprisingly common phobia causes countless people needless distress.

Waiting shouldn't be a problem for most people here. We have waited how long for Diablo 3, or even a new game in the Diablo series.
So a few weeks for a comic shouldn't be a problem. Heck I have to wait 2-3 weeks for my manga to be delivered. How is this any different. Or maybe it's more like Stoptazmo or other scanlation of manga sites, they do a new chapter every month, if you lucky.

Yes, you know the Teleport spell. Its a bit of a complicated spell, but anyone as powerful as you surely knows how to teleport. Do you not agree that the Imperator would know how to teleport? Even though you wield a single Bastard Sword you call the Purifier, you still have much historical knowledge of Sanctuary, so clearly you are some sort of scholar. Someone of your intelligence would at the least find the usefulness of being able to teleport, and would surely, while reading through these books, come across the instructions to teach yourself how to do it. If you didn't come across, I'm sure you would have seeked it out. Of course, thats assuming that you aren't already part of any of the Mage Clans. It doesn't appear to be so, unless you change that about yourself.
Teleport's appearance seems to change because of all those mages in DI compared to the Sorceress' version in DII. So I made yours like a red flash. Remember at the end of Episode II, you disappeared in a flash of red light? -- that was you teleporting away.
Is it really so bad that you know how to teleport?
Lore that has already been established about you is hard to follow exactly, because not all of it fits in with Sanctuary or with the forums
I forgot to extent my above post. I do possess a form of teleport, Dimension Door. It allows one to "teleport" between dimensions and realms.
It doesn't fit with Sanctuary as I haven't actually come to Sanctuary yet. It's will be in my Bio edit.

although I might just quickly add a red glow in the middle of that, signifying Elfen's red teleportation.
I have teleportation? or I used a portal? Sure lore wise my powers are vast and numerous, but I do not recall teleportation to be one of them. But then again, the full extent of my powers has yet to be fully revealed.

Blue/grey is the only font colour that works on all three schemes. I think. Or maybe this colour?
Any colour that is not a background of another should work fine.
Come on Elfen, do you really think I would make anything that I create modern? The comic is set 8 years after the destruction of the Worldstone (because in real life the Worldstone was destroyed in 2000, and it is now 2008). So of course it is still in the gothic, medieval world.
No I do not, I only brought that up in the event that the content of the novel rather that the novel itself was brought up or referenced in a way denoting it's chronology. I exist in the novel which is set in 1498 and I exist in the comic set in 2008. I do not posess time travel, yet both incarnations share many similarities, almost so to the point where both are one in the same. But that is something that would need to be ironed out in several discussions that would fill up this thread with borderline spam, see you on MSN.
This is an epic episode, definitely. But yeah, I'll see what is appropriate for what it is. The first few parts are suitable to be released slowly, at least. SO i'll work on them first.
Look into definitely, generally it's fairly easy to tell which will suit best. Really depends on what's going on i.e the main topic of said episode. May 1st could be one easily, but when you view the even as a whole, it could be two or three just as easily. All depends on how you want to go with it.
Hmm, thats a good point. I'll keep that in mind.
If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time-with a tremendous whack.
As simple as bio's appear to be, its actually a lot of effort to get them right lol. Which is why I haven't released another so far. But alright, I think I'm ready for another one.
Something I identify with all too well, after writing 11 of them myself for my RPG Thread. It does take a lot to get it right, esp. when the person is a forum member, mine were easier only because the people in question do not exist until I create them. Though biographies, while definitely important, are not the only addition tome of knowledge you can make. Lord of The Rings: Return of The King has those awesome appendices at the end, full of great side stories and back stories.
How was Deeha'Blothri made, when was it made? who were it's founding father's? Where did they come from? Why did they choose to make the town where they did?
While not entirely necessarily, these are questions that could be answered, at some point in time.

Honestly I can't read a thing of Elfen's post. It blends right in with the background...
Must be something with the version (scheme) your using, because it's in the font colour that the Carbon Fibre scheme uses. Which is a tanish colour. I copied the text from a word document, but if I do it without changing to colour it will show us as black text on a black background for me, and everyone else who uses the newest scheme, didn't know anyone used other schemes. Well in either case, someone was going to end up with a hard to read post, unless I actually typed out all of the reference or rather direct quotation from Zelda. And that is a lot of words.
Wow, you went all out in that post o.O

The only dates we have end at 1250 (The year in which Diablo 1 was set). That is a bit of a jump, but not impossible, the Novel and RPG thread and are set in the years 1498 and 1500 respectively. So this comic could indeed be set in 2008. Though based on how our world went, I would be ever so grateful if Atrumentis could have the world retain it's gothic look. Hey, what do people prefer? A whole episode released at once or bits of an episode released slowly? I'm guessing bits at a time is better, so you feel like you're getting more and it keeps you entertained for longer lol.
Yeah, I think I'll do that from now on. I'll release each part of an episode as I complete them. yeah?
Ultimately, that would depend on the size, scope and nature of the episode. If lots is going on you could spread it over a few weekends, teasing us, in true blizzard fashion with the released of each new part, but if there isn't to much going on it would be better to released that episode as one bigger part.
Manga's does this often, (as does anime which is easier to pick up on). You might have one chapter titled Club Murder, followed by Sword Dancer 1, Sword Dancer 2 and lastly Sword Dancer 3. Yes, I used Hellsing Volume 1 as an example. CLub M was a short little almost stand alone type mission, while the 3 Sword Dancer chapters introduced Alucard's rival, Father Alexander Anderson the Paladin, and had a much larger and more involved mission.
Diablo, and other games sort of do it as well, Radamant was a small quest and could easily be done in a single episode of a comic, where as something like the interconnected quests of Making a Horadric Staff, destroying the snake altar, locating Horazon's jorunal, finding which is the correct tomb of Tal Rasha is much larger and if you wanted to make it all one, you would be better to release parts of it at a time as opposed to one big release.
I believe I have mentioned this before, but since Stonebreaker got his own bio made, I feel other should have the same honour bestowed upon them, esp. the main characters. can you explain the origin to this forum lore a little bit more?
That depends on how far back in time you want to go.
Before life began, before the world had form, three golden goddesses descended upon the chaotic land of www.diablofans.com (formerly known as www.diablo3.com ). They were Din, the Goddess of Power, Nayru, the Goddess of Wisdom, and Farore, the Goddess of Courage.
Din, with her strong flaming arms, cultivated the land to create the earth. Nayru poured her wisdom onto the earth to give the spirit of law to the world. Farore's rich soul created all life forms who would uphold the law.
These three great goddesses returned to the heavens, leaving behind the golden sacred Triforce.
The Triforce was sealed in the Sacred Realm connected to www.diablofans.com. The legends also say that whoever holds the Triforce can make their wishes come true, but only if he has the perfect balance between the three forces: Power, Wisdom, and Courage. If someone without the right balance lays his or her hand on the Triforce, it will split into three pieces. The one touching the Triforce will hold the force that he or she most believes in, and the two other parts will be given to persons chosen by destiny to carry the Triforce-part that they represent. The persons who carry the Triforce or a part of it can be recognized by the Triforce symbol on their hands.
This is the legend passed down by the Royal family.
I love LOZ. I would have gone with a more Diabloesque story, but in truth, I have forgotten it. There is a story somewhere that says how Sanctuary was formed. Which I really need to find, as we are in Sactuary, not Hyrule. So really the above paragraphs, although epic in scope and nature are actually rather inapplicable.
Also since the founding members of this site, of whom there happened to be three of (Don't you just love the use of the number 3 in religion), Umaro, Mockery and DeMiNe0 (who has since left now) are all, to the best of my knowledge males, that would make them gods, not goddesses, that makes the first line even more redundant. We only have one goddess here at the moment, Aphrodite.
But since the Diablo world aka Sanctuary mirrors our world in many ways, prehaps different groups having different views on the creation of the world is not that big a deal, infact I think it is present in Diablo to some extent. I don't recall the Barbarbians sharing the necromancer's belief the sphere of the world rests on the world dragon Trang-Oul's back.
But i must get ahold of that text (assuming I am not mistaken and am thinking of something else, which in all likelihood I am) and remind myself about the various creation theory about Sanctuary.
Aeons ago - site created -3000 (Really 2005) - The first humanoids appear. Most die out (Leave). -2000 (Really 2006) - The Golden Age. The Ancient ones (Including myself) are born and turn the desolate wasteland left after the reckoning into a lush land (well not really, it just sounded epic and cool) -1000 (Really 2007) - Poulations goes through many ups and downs as the world is rocked by multiple castaclismic events (Announcements) 0 (Really Present Day (or maybe 0 should be May 1st. Then you kinda get a BC/AD thing going, or rather www.diablo3.com / www.diablofans.com)) -
Oh thought you might like this, it's a small little series of timelines I complied, there are some lore issues with a few of them, so don't go taking them as the definiative line on how things went down, as some are pretty rough. They occasionally contradict themselves at times or are at odds with later released games. Be for warning, it does use the JSL ancient font. Thats the one that looks like really, really old books in latin, like the bible from the 4th Century AD. If you don't have it Ithink it just shows up in Times New Roman or something.
The note about SICK adjustments is in terms with the novel Carloseus was writing. And I think the RPG threads use it too. It is designed to put all dates from all timelines into one continuous timeline based on the Diablo timeline, and in conjunction with the novel being set in the year 1498. It's a really long story. Don't ask.

I just mean like, in years time it would be funny to look back and see how bored we were.
Persoanlly, Id rather look back at the comic in a years time and see a chronology of the events of this site retold in an exicting and epic way. Not a bunch of fans sitting around doing nothing, even if that is what were doing, to some degree, we were also engaging in debates and debarcles sotimes philosophical in nature (thanks PhrozenDragon, you rock!), shameless rumour mongering (could be portraited by some shabbily dressed street preacher), and the always enjoyable swapping of Diablo II war stories.

Heck, sometimes I forego the "Sleep" phase altogether.
I kind of wish I started this ages ago, so we would have had heaps of time before Diablo3 was announced to have heaps of pointless episodes where we are sooo bored, waiting for it to come lol.
I think I'd rather you didn't. I get enough "filler" in my anime. I don't need it in this comic. But it is your comic, do with it what you will, But hopefully filler is not one of the things you choose to do. The Diablo series manages to keep filler to a minimum.
but it would have been funnier to have a group of people hoping for Diablo to return while everyone else is laughing at us.
I will be laughing all the way to lvl 99 (or whatever D3's max level is) when it released. Screw those unfaithful heathens!!!!

But i must get ahold of that text (assuming I am not mistaken and am thinking of something else, which in all likelihood I am) and remind myself about the various creation theory about Sanctuary.

Don't ask.
Oh and you might want to check your sig there Zubin, your first line's text colour is black. Kinda hard to read it on a black background.
I think I'd rather you didn't. I get enough "filler" in my anime. I don't need it in this comic. But it is your comic, do with it what you will, But hopefully filler is not one of the things you choose to do. The Diablo series manages to keep filler to a minimum.
I will be laughing all the way to lvl 99 (or whatever D3's max level is) when it released. Screw those unfaithful heathens!!!!
