Number 2 is perfect, #38 is completely disproportionate and odd looking. Forget color, there is time for that later. Number 2 matches what I was hoping for after I saw the monk trailer. Number 38 is so creepy looking.
Absolutely fantastic read. I really enjoyed it. Especially the random traps that use children as bate, this is a dark side of diablo we have not yet seen.
Of course they will, have you seen the popularity of WOW. There will be commercials for Diablo III and Star Craft II, but you probably won't achieve the celebrity status that WOW was able to bring in.
I do however believe Ozzy will love Diablo III, not so much Star Craft II.
I still cannot believe this thread is still kicking... This is the most rediculous thread and there is almost no factual bases for any claim's...
But for the sake of argument, I will say the release is Q3 or Q4 of 2010. But percentages can change so rapidly, all you have to do is hit a snag and have to rework something and all of a sudden, 70% drops to 50%.
I noticed the page entries before, but they were all over the place. I don't think blizzard is going to stick to the script on this one. But, maybe they will.
I found it very intriguing how they told a story with every update, it really gave you that sense that you are reading something that you wish you could experience yourself. Of course we will all experience it our selves. It becomes a sort of destiny for every fan/player to conquer Sanctuary. This is just another example of how Blizzard is able to harness our imagination.
I will be rebuilding my new PC after a few games have announced there specs. Not very worried about Diablo III, but I would like to know on the high end, where the ceiling is for Diablo III's graphics and capabilities.
Windows 7 is a beast. It is not going to be the next XP, it is going to be better. Windows basically used Vista as one massive beta test and corrected almost everything. It runs so smooth and the new choice to customize your security features is a huge plus.
Also, Windows 7 has the ability to run applications (including games) in a remote style environment using different operating systems.
I think they will focus more on Diablo III and some StarCraft II and also the new MMO. I expect for the new MMO to be announced near the end, or sometime on Saturday.
I would like to hear a Christmas release date for Diablo III next year.
I don't think Blizzard expected half of the outcome that WOW produced. It took the addiction of Everquest to a whole new level. I mean I enjoyed WOW, but it was short lived, I became bored of it quickly and found myself playing DII and DI all over again. I still play them today.
Again, I am also very excited for any Diablo III info they present to us. But I really want some more story line, because above all Diablo has always had the most compelling story line. I am also very interested to hear more music.
I am sure they at least 35% done with the game as a whole, probably more. Knowing Blizzard though. They probably have the game built and created, but are continuously adding more things too it, so it is difficult to but a percentage of completion on it. The game is going to be massive, that is for sure.
I tend to disagree, but I could be wrong. I just can't see too much more information coming out about Star Craft II. There is already battle reports and so forth, but as far as new information, I don't think they want to give to much away.
Battle Net 2.0 though, know I can see a ton of information coming out regarding that. But I expect a far bit of information about Diablo III and of course the announcement of the Next-Gen MMO.
Also, I am expecting a Teaser starting Monday morning.
Keep it up guys, I am interested to hear everyone's thoughts!
I know I am. I am starting this thread to see what other are hoping to see at BlizzCon and what your expectations are.
As far as Diablo III is concerned, I am hoping for a ton of new information. I expect for the announcement of at least 1 new character hopefully 2.
Also, I expect for them to expand on the Act's and which cities we are going to be able to visit though out the game, or if it will be limited to just 1 city per Act.
Please feel free to post your expectations, wishes, or just post about your excitement.
I could use a new PC. There are so many companies out there now that make PC's at ridiculous prices. I built my own PC for 1K and it would have cost over 2 anywhere else. But nothing beats free. =]

Ok I am done rambling.

And yes, Windows 7 will work well out of the box!
