I'll take a shot at this.
MULTIPLY - Once an elite is killed, it splits into two smaller versions of that elite. Maybe a max of 3 splits before they are completely dead?
CHARMER- These elites can turn your followers or fellow party members against you for "x" amount of time. Con: If you only play solo with no follower.
LURKER - Can shoot spikes from underneath the ground at you and follow you around without you being able to attack them until you run away then they pop up. You then have to quickly get them before they go burrow in the ground again. Basically the Starcraft Zerg unit the Lurker. Not really sure about this one just trying to come up with something.
That is all I have so far.
I have re-geared from scratch and it has been fun.
I figured it will be even better to find new gear and not worry about max Critical Damage, Critical Hit, or Increased Attack Speed.
My thought is to save gold and have plenty to experiment with while getting brand new gear.
I look at it like buying a mansion and putting all your junk, worn down, old furniture inside it, instead of going out and getting brand new furniture.
I really love the hard work and passion you put into creating all this and the post.
It was a very fun read and makes me excited to play these types of play modes!
I certainly hope that they create a defense type of game mode.
I really like the treasure room. The small things like chests and barrels to smash and open and other loot-able objects sounds fun seeing upon entering the room.
I love the wave of death / challenge mode layout for picking your desired difficulty and game type.
Thanks again for the great post. Hope that we can eventually see something like this implemented in the future.
In a game called Titan Quest you have a tabbed inventory.
Like your shared stash, only in your characters inventory.
I would like to see charms come back, with a separate tab specifically for them with limited space.
In gears of war, they have horde mode where waves of monsters come.
It would be nice to see something like this in say Mahgda's Lair and you go through rounds each bringing new and more difficult monsters. Every 10 rounds is a special boss or elite pack.
Gear wise, someone wrote a post about his "dream" with ideas for awesome gear improvements.
They have already mentioned some of the changes you described for upcoming patches with reforging stats and socketing.
I love your passion man!
Keep the posts coming, I will be looking forward to your next "Dream"!
I have similar dreams hoping and wanting these types of changes.
Thanks for taking the time to share you detailed ideas.
Very well done. I am very impressed and would love to see these types of features come to reality!
I loved the idea of the new set items.
Makes you want to push for the full set.
Also, if you find one, you have to factor in salvaging, selling, trading, or keeping, not just salvage or sell.
The new Magic Find potion idea is really cool. I like the thought of making one takes brimstones and gold!
I like how the legendary items all have excellent primary stats.
I would be very excited if I knew that's what legendary items had when one dropped.
Your unique dungeon idea is super awesome, that is exactly what I want to hear!
I was ecstatic to read this post, very clever at the end, and I hope that it comes true as well.
Thank you for taking the time to create this!
Gems
For an incentive, reduce cost by x amount after crafting x amount.
Then it might be worth your time crafting yourself.
Something to make it interesting, maybe combine gems to produce mixed stats. Mixed stat gems cannot be sold or traded.
Just an idea.
Mixed stat could mean more than intelligence and strength, it could produce crit chance or gold find or both on same gem.
If charms return, I suggest a separate tab specifically for them.
Similar how the stash has tabs, or like the game Titan Quest.
That tab would have a certain amount of space (example 9 or 12 squares) only charms.
New classes
I think a Druid or an assassin would be awesome, however, logically it seems that would mean another intelligence and dexterity class.
I would think they would implement a class that uses strength. Why, I don't know exactly but talk of this Templar / paladin class seems that way. More likely.
Items
I like the new direction with crafting, perhaps something more here. Ink cheese has valid points, I agree.

Yes I would love a play mode like this!
Maybe work as a team and try and survive the waves of monsters, each wave gets increasingly harder. The farther you go the greater the reward.
Of course a leader board is needed to see who endured the longest wave / streak.
1. Yes, the new ones that drop, not your existing ones.
2. I believe so. The new gems will come with the expansion.
Looks really awesome! Can't wait.
Thanks for taking your time to put this video together!

PTR stands for Public Test Realm.

That is just my opinion though.
This just makes sense and I don't see any reason not to implement this feature right away.
I have always wondered why I could never see what my cool down was reduced to, without doing the math manually.
Thanks for posting and maybe we will get this added to the game!
