It shouldn't be too much to ask to just give us a few extra action bar slots and the ability to drag and drop skills (and basic attack) onto them, rather than making basic attack a sub-par Primary ability to waste one of the 6 skill slots.
Peoples are whining and upset because they game never get released, now they want to push the release date even further back. Nice!
I suppose the thought didn't cross your mind that they aren't the same people?
Indeed. As I've stated on the official forums as well, I would rather wait an extra month for a complete revamp of the skill UI, than have it released as it is in patch 13.
The dogs and gargantuan should tank most of the damage, but you might have to do some kiting using Grasp of the Dead to slow them down. I wasn't sure whether to go for Blood Ritual or Spiritual Attunement as the final passive ability. Won't know which one works best without actually playing with it. For Spiritual Attunement I would pick Burning Dogs instead of Leeching Beasts, and possibly Pride on the Sacrifice skill if mana is an issue.
All my abilities have some kind of AoE damage, and big packs of weaker mobs should be decimated in a matter of seconds.
PS: I already won in the twitter contest, so if I were to win this I would give the key to a friend who desperately wants the beta. If that disqualifies me, so be it. I enjoyed making this build anyway
Great chat channels! I would love to see them work cross-game with SC2 and WoW at some point. Would make it even easier to communicate with multiple ingame buddies.
I've been playing some League of Legends with friends (this game is really not worth playing solo since you'll get matched with uncooperative whiners most of the time). I have access to the CS:GO beta, but it's pretty disappointing so far. They've strayed too far from CS 1.6, but I guess it'll at least be better than CS: Source. Still playing a little bit of WoW, but I feel there is not much left to do in Cataclysm.
For me it's mainly about testing how well my PC runs it at different video settings. The goal is to get it to run at a stable 100 or 120 FPS. I don't care if I have to set everything to the lowest setting to achieve that. I'll always prefer performance above image quality. It would also be nice to get a feel for the Witch Doctor, which is the class I intend to play. I loved the Diablo 2 necromancer, and this guy seems to be the most similar to him of all the classes.
I am also interested in checking out various game mechanics, and how they differ from Diablo 2. Only having a total of 6 skills and 3 passives concerns me a bit, but we'll see how it pans out. Hopefully they'll add more character/skill customization or extra skill slots in an expansion at some point

Specs:
cpu: Core i7 930 @ stock speed
gpu: 570 GTX
ssd: Corsair Force GT 120GB x2
hdd: 1TB something black. Mostly used for storage.
ram: 3x4GB cheap generic memory
soundcard: Asus Xonar DG
primary monitor: BenQ xl2410t (120Hz)
secondary monitor: cheap 22" BenQ monitor
mouse: Steelseries Sensei
pad: Steelseries 9HD
keyboard: Steelseries 6Gv2
headset: Beyerdynamic DT 770 pro 80
The weakest link in this setup is the cpu. I'm trying to hold on for as long as possible without upgrading.
