I do them once to get the mats, and that's it. But I have enjoyed it so far.
Personally I am glad that the builds aren't representative of the top leader-boards, because that's what most are playing anyway.
Interesting to me at least, to see what weird shit people have come up with - even if it doesn't really work all that well.
I really don't like this gem, it is too slow to ramp up, and once it is up you need to micromanage it like crazy so it won't fall off.
Even with channeling spells it feels awful.
As I am using the tal rasha set, I also went with having sources for all elements, but those can be replaced with something else.
Black hole event horizon is because without teleport I needed another way of getting away from waller etc.
And I picked diamond skin to soak more dmg, usually running the speed or extra shield rune.
Single target, this build can stun-lock pretty well. Which is great, so you can stand in place and channel longer.
I love that they are changing up skills elemental type again, opens up for more options.
Looks like lightning is getting a tiny bit of love, about time.
Say you didn't care much about your ladder rank. Would it be worth it to clear greater rifts in a way that you don't skip any rift levels, in terms of experience and loot gained from them ?
Or, does the later rift levels give much more experience and loot compared to lower rift levels, making that approach pointless ?
Honestly, i'd rather have better quality drops less frequent. Rather than awful drops all the time.
And since RNG is a bitch, as we all know. Once you get a nice item dropping, it probably rolls with mediocre stats.
I really wish I had gotten more of the special affix legendaries though, or class set items. But nope, tough luck so far.
Oh well, gotta keep trying.
I also prefer to play solo, because I can go at my own pace.
Playing with people I know can be fun at times of course, and I plan on doing a lot of rifts and bounties with friends eventually.
Rushing through things with the "go go go!" attitude isn't really something for me, especially not COTA runs and the like.
Might be efficient, but not exactly a lot of fun. For me anyway.
What irks me about teleport, is that there are times where it simply doesn't work like expected.
Getting stuck on a tiny rock for example, what the hell.
Not being able to teleport up or down certain areas at times, other times going up works, but not down or the other way around.

Will check out the necromancer, if I enjoy it I will continue playing that.
If not I will just play wizard, like i've done more or less every season I have played.
Core of arreat
Festering woods
Tower of the damned/cursed lvl's 1 and 2
Northern/southern highlands
And the palce where you rescue cain, forgot what it was called.

I for one mostly play with my brother or solo, public games are not usually worth the time.
