We all agree that some legendaries special affixes are at best subpar.
The question is, why?, didn't the developers/testers know the very basic game mechanics of the game to understand that certain affixes are just not useful?.
I mean, if I were designing legendaries, at least I will find a real competitive use for special affixes.
Interesting responses, some players here behave exactly the opposite players behave in the official forusm, both extremes are bad people.
This thread is about legendary special affixes that are... at least, sub-par compared with others without any doubt.
My Monk has an affix that every globe you pick, 380% weapon damage for everyone, it is fucking amazing.
However, the other one I quoted, is garbage, come on. If you are in a fucked up situation, taking only half of the damage for... 5 seconds, wont save you.
Now, if you say, that the channeling time of your TP is reduced to 1 second, ok, that is then useful. I wouldn't probably use it but I can see that for HC players is actually a nice escape.
The problem I'm facing is that when you play as someone who doesn't share the main attribute with your follower, finding upgrades for him is almost impossible, since in loot 2.0 the weapons that drop contain your main stat.
To put it simple, you play as a WD, your follower is a templar, something drops, it has always intelligence, your templar needs strength -> useless.
Possible solution, make 1/N items that drop be smarted out about your follower.

I guess my time of posting in a forum full of fanatic and intransigent people is over.

These kind of things are what I don't get.

"when you TP your channeling is uninterrupted and you take 53% less damage".
Can anyone beat it?.

For the love of god, use the right one.

(Coming from a non-native English speaker).
Let say that the yellowish pools are cool.
I fear that soon all we are going to see is 300+main stat + 300+ vit + 10% cooldown reduction, in all items.
I hope I'm wrong though.
However, visually, the orange thingy (rhombus?) in your paragon level bar, is way more than 10%.
I suspect I'm missing something, but, can't find what is.
What then?, your paragon will increase more slowly, and on top of that you spent hours/days doing something repetitive and boring.
It's a lose-lose scenario.
Then I proceeded to google a bit to find out what was that about, and it seems that some legendaries can (must?) be crafted this way.
Now that raises a question, is it the only way to aquire/craft these legendaries?, or is it just an alternative?.
If these legendaries have their particular way to get them, then they are supposedly better than other pick/plan legendaries?.
Thanks.
