They are NOT giving an exclusive sigil and achievement based on luck. They are giving them because beta testers helped them with all the bugs and testing the new systems in the game, and ultimately made it possible for blizzard to announce the release date of may 15. Basically you should congratulate them on the sigil and achievement(of which is worth 0 points) because without the beta testers who knows how long the game would have taken to be released.
I for one was a beta tester and I indeed reported bugs and I belive I do deserve a special gift for helping blizzard out.
This whole luck thing is in a way an attempt to diminish the rewards themselves because of jealousy and-or just thinking that it means that "that person is better" which it certainly does not
People talking crap on this are just mad that beta testers get something that "they"(non beta testers) don't get. Beta testers deserve to be distinguished amongst other players, because without the their help and the time each of them took to report a bug or an error, the game would have taken longer to be released. So to sum it up,STFU THEY EARNED IT.
I do remember seeing rares and blues in diablo II that have an "Ignore targets defence" attribute to them.
And once again barbarians are the straight up IN YOUR FACE ALL THE TIME melee chars, thus they absolutely need to have such rewarding stats. My strategy will be to have two sets of gear: a set that boosts strength, and a set that boosts vitality. That way I'm covered if one set isn't working well enough. I may possibly have a third set that is an equal combination of the two.
The level cap is not restricted to exactly 61 for the enemies to goes from 61-68 and the level cap increase for players will be at most 5 and it would not take long for them to tweak the ai to levels to 65-73.
People keep forgetting that blizzard will not have anything at all on the auction house from them no rares or legendarys so they will have to be found by us and sold by us and I know of I found a legendary item first run through it would take no less than another legendary item for me to part with it
I don't think I can buy a bag of cheetos with in game gold, nor can I buy them with beta bucks(I wonder what they will be called in the full game) any currency you get ultimately can only be spent on stuff blizzard sells.
With the developers working on the PvP system separately from the actual game I'm sure they have something awesome in store for us,
I'm gonna be a barb, nice can't really call em builds though, skill combo is better.none of us know how tough inferno is so NO ONE can can say what build is best
I was playing with the skill tool even though obsolete until its updated And concluded that a 3 tier barbarian can have just over 4000 armor and still dish out some damage and that a 1st tier barbarian can have well over 19,000 armor, combine that with the 5 seconds of 90% damage reduction,60% of which is reflected makes a barbarian dam-near invulnerable for that time, and after that having the 57,480 life being returned to me over 120 seconds makes for a fearsome warrior indeed and a mighty foe even the legions of inferno will have trouble dealing with:)

Because making a new topic asking my exact question gives me a better chance of getting it answered other than following a topic and hoping it gets answered
I just have a question, are these beta keys the cool things bashiok was twating, sorry tweeting about?
I really hope not I was looking forward to seeing or reading about another little golden nugget of new diablo3 info.
With all the videos showing how easy it is to kill the skeleton king, especially that lvl 1 killing him,he seems more like a joke. In my opinion I think they need to make him harder some way so any battle with him (or any other main story creature) is always a challenge, not just a damn stroll in the park.
