Okay, I ask the Diablofans community to suggest a basic outline on how to make a grilled cheese sandwich, it must contain 10 slides (not the title) and two sentences on each slide, so that equals about 20 sentences at minimum.
So please post your ideas/outlines in this thread, would really appreciate it.

1. title and intro
2. choosing your bread (soft hard thick thin)
3. deciding on cheeses (flavors and textures)
4. to spread or not to spread (mustard, caramelized onions, etc.)
5. buttering your bread (butter on both sides of each piece or just the outsides of the sandwich)
6. preparing your skillet or frying pan with butter and the right temperature
7. flipping after 30sec-1min on each side on low heat
8. removing at the right golden brown color
9. plating and sides (pickle? peperoncini? tomato soup?)
10. enjoying
Dunno so much about the presentation but I shall be the grammar nazi and help you out as best I can.
I'll go with your ideas and sentence structure obviously so as to keep it your work.
Je vais apprendre vous comment faire la cuisine un croque-monsieur. (I will teach you all how to cook a grilled cheese sandwich)
Je vais vous apprendre comment preparer un croque-monsieur. ( I will teach you how to prepare a grilled...)
Your french equivalent of that sentence reads in English- I you teach how to do cooking a sandwich...Even though you placed 'vous' as 'you' after the verb, it is technically wrong.
Premier, on choisit le genre de pain. (First, one chooses the type of bread)
En premier, on choisit le pain.
En premier= first
Je prefere le genre ordinaire (blanche). (I prefer the ordinary type [white])
Even the English sentence is kind of poor here. You might want to say- I prefer ordinary white bread. Even if 'bread' is repeated, it is a recipe or cooking manual here, so it doesn't matter.
I prefer ordinary white bread = Je prefere le pain blanc ordinaire.(note- you need to add the correct 'accent' on the 'e's in prefere.
Alors, on choisit le genre du fromage. (Then, one chooses the type of cheese)
A better word for 'then'= Ensuite
Ensuite, on choisit le genre de fromage.
Note- 'de' instead of 'du'.
Je prefere le genre americain. (I prefer the american type)
Okie.
Après, on chosit des ingredients. (After one chooses the condiments/ingredients)
'les' instead of 'des'
Les ingredients sont le sel, le poivre, la moutard, etcetera. (The condiments/ingredients are salt, pepper, mustard, etcetera.)
I bet anybody would be like- what the fuck!?! if they saw 'etcetera' as an ingredient in a cooking recipe.
Après on chosit, il faut couvres les tranches de pain avec du beurre. (After one chooses, one must cover the slices of bread with some butter)
Couple of glaring mistakes here but i'll get back to it and the rest later.
Have to return to my assignment.

Add cheese.
Place another piece of bread one side buttered on top of that butter side facing up.
Cook until bread is golden brown.
Flip, repete, eat, enjoy.
Never over complicate the simple.
