The Murlocket is Back
The fabled Murlocket is back! It was removed a few patches ago and added back in 1.0.8. To find it you'll have to travel to the Act II's Sewers of Caldeum, find the unique mob Moontooth Dreadshark and slay him over and over until the amulet drops. Wearing it spawns a small murloc companion that follows you around!
You can check out KingKongor's topic where people are sharing how much time they've spent looking for it and also a video provided by Kongor.
One of my coworkers was showing off his Murlocket just yesterday, and now I want one. I was looking for some good info on how to find it, so thanks to everyone who posted helpful advice.
I bet these make a fun gift to send to friends, have any of you done that?
ZeroNine's Dashing Strike Monk Build
Forum member ZeroNine has created a cool Monk build which focuses on Dashing Strike. This is just another of the many interesting builds that you can check out in our Monk forums.
The build is great for many players because it doesn't require an expensive set of gear and gives players an alternative to the Thunderclap rune, but still manages to deal with big packs of mobs in a very timely fashion. If you want to leave your feedback check out ZeroNine's topic located here.
Imperius Fan Art TamplierPainter has another awesome creation to share with the art loving crowd. This time he has made a magnificent piece of Imperius wielding Solarian. Tamplier has made many Blizzard artworks in the past, which can be viewed in his gallery on Deviant Art. You can also check out a video of him drawing Imperius, by clicking right here.

lol what makes it "absolutely disgusting" its an easter egg item. its just for looks, i have one them, its not even worth actually equiping except when your messing around.

they do this instead of including any meaningful and interesting itemsation.
Whatever.
What similarity does this have to itemisation? It's an easter egg item, it probably took a few hours for one person to work on.
Itemisation is huge and takes a lot of people to work on.
You make it sound like they dropped everything they were doing just to add this back in. Which is wrong

Bashiok - Blizzard Representative - 08/01/2011 -"So how many skill combinations are there now? Well taking into account 6 active skills, all the rune combinations, and 3 passives we currently expect each class to have roughly 2,285,814,795,264 different build combinations."
"Hey, I thought you'd like the witty irony of grub-on-glowie violence!"

It's a mini pet from wow.
Oh I see now, you just don't like wow. Why didn't you just say that? You're allowed to dislike a particular game, but don't get angry at a company for putting in an easter egg item from one of their other games. No one is forcing you to get it.

I like to see small vanity items in the game like this. I finally got my Murlocket after about an hour of farming it. From what I have read, I got pretty lucky.
