Bas Rutten for barb

I would prefer it animated CGI. but Live Actors are also good
The thing with CGI is they have to make the characters act just as good as live actors, which could be done pretty easily if they choose the right people to work with.. but I'd rather see it done properly with live actors, perhaps directed by Peter Jacksson (overrated director??), Christopher Nolan or Steven Spielberg.
Anyway, here's the line-up:
Barb - The Rock
Pala - Djimon Hounsou
Necro - Hugh Jackman
Ama - Kate Beckinsale
Sorc - Halle Berry
Ass - Milla Jojovich
Dru - Heath Ledger (R.I.P.) or Stellan Skarsgård
Ellen DeGeneres as Charsi, The Rock as the Barbarian, Helen Mirrin as Akara, Selma Blair as the Assassin.

D3 Pros: Outdoors environment, night time environment, female Barbarian, rune spell system, the Wizard class
D3 Cons: Fantasy architecture, fantasy armor, fanstasy weapons, no shaders.
it would be nice to see mabey some completly random faces, no big name actors everyone heard of, there expections would go to high.
That's basically what LotR did, and look at them all now.

The Rock as the Barbarian.
Please, no, I think barbarians are a bit more intelligent than that... I hate that git and his face... >_< Exculding The Mummy Returns where he didn't open his mouth (almost).
Unless he puts on a "scottish accent". Cain has more of a Sean Connery tone to him. It's pretty much one of his trademarks, his accent. But I would definitely like to see Anthony Hopkins in the movie somewhere. I would even go for just his voice.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.

Yea, I guess I would have to say your right Elfen, Cain does sound more like a Sean Connery.
You know what Elfen, I think I know who would be a bad ass Paladin.....Tony Todd!..seriously I think he would be perfect for it.
Though I do not know why you had to suggest the idea directly to me. I do not claim to be any sort of an expert in these matters.

I figured since you were the only other one really besides me that was currently posting on the thread that I would direct it to you....I am a movie buff through and through. I wasn't making the assumption you were though. All well, next time I'll leave your name out of the post if it makes you feel more comfortable lol....and BTW I never said that you claimed to be the expert of anything.
Paladin - Christian Bale (The guy from Equilibrium and Batman, Dark knight)
You are aware the Paladin is a black guy right?

If your packed up in plate, voice counts for a lot. You can still tell the Paladin is black, even when he is dressed in full plate mail.
And is it not possible that a Diablo movie is done entirely in Motion capture, like Beowulf. Which would mean actors would be chosen for their voice. As was the case with Ray Winstone, their likenesses may not actually feature in the movie. So while that mean a white person could indeed play a black person, some fans of the Diablo series are fiercely fanatical in their understanding of the characters and the lore.
While some may think these people are the minority, they are often the loudest. They have their views and will defend them to the death so to speak. Perhaps I am rambling, I tend to do that from time to time, the more time you spend here the more apparent that fact will become to you.
