lol. de molay gave you a damn resume while gledymae only gave you an incomplete sentence.
i would actually send them both questions to answer.
Greetings, in reading the previous posts I saw and will answer:
1. What are your affiliations with any previous alliances? (Include names, players, and anything else relevant.)
None, I've been playing about 4-5 weeks now and had not really been impressed by some of the rhetoric that I saw on the normal gamma board about the warfare and horse manure some of the other alliances had going on. I was going to stay unaligned and trade with anyone who would. It was getting harder to trade in my immediate area when I noticed a post from Kenzai looking for sulfur. After several trades and the normal conversation I decided that if the rest of you were like him then that was the type of people I wanted to align myself with.
2. How do you intend to make DFAC a better alliance in regards to your past alliance experiences? (If you have no previous alliance affiliations, please just briefly summarize how you would like to contribute, positively, to the alliance.)
I believe in helping newer players get started. By patiently working with them in the nuances and early trades that they need to get started. Giving them the benefit of my limited experience and facilitating their growth. You must all recall your first few trades where you only had 50 or 100 units spare and really needed something you didn't have to get to the next level. Once the newer player get to where they can figure it out themselves, to let them decide on which course of action they want to go.
Each of you in turn will have some sort of gem of information, some trick you've learned that you will pass on during our conversations that will make me a better player and in turn I expect to pass it on to others.
3. How do you view attacking members of a lower rank than you?
I view it with the same disgust as I do of a person who beats a puppy with a stick because it fouled the living room carpet. Why pick on someone who you know is inferior in defense than you?
Oh there was another "question/comment" a few post later on about wood to spare, no I'm not "walking on the wild side" I'm just a lot older than most of the standard gamers and don't always pick up on the nuances of today's vernacular.

me.
Welcome to de Molay from here in case he lurks around.
And BTW from de Molay:
"I can trade 20K each of Wine, Crystal, Lumber and Sulfur in exchange for like amounts of Marble the only thing that holds me back is the size of my fleet which is 42 ships."
More than half of the alliance even shares islands with him. So if anyone has marble to sell, he can give you anything back in return, 20k at once.
I told you hes a good trader.
Not lurking just learning how to use this board. Took me a few minutes to figure it out.
...Though as i said i dont currently have embassies at all. Yeah thats possible and you can stay in the alliance and make cultural treaties...
u dont need an embassy to make cultural treaties?, so if i demolish it, ill still be able to be in the alliance and make cultural treaties?
edit: ohh cool i been wasting space in my towns lol

This isnt the first time ive told id Num3n.
You dont need embassies for anything really important.
Trade treaties arent bad actually but i doubt we really need them.
You can stay in an alliance and also make cultural treaties with no embassies at all.
Currently, i have got zero embassies through my whole empire. Yes, none at all.
