Is there a way to have my colonies automatically distribute equally their earned resources?
Automatically? I really really doubt it. If there is, I am yet to find it. Plus, equal distribution isn't always a good thing, like with wine. I have 2 colonies that produce wine and 3 that don't. So I want my 2 production colonies to pretty much stay at around 100 most of the time, so I can max out my sent wine to the colonies that can't produce it. This ensures a larger comfort buffer just incase I lose production on my wine or some other mishap, then my non producing colonies can last for a few weeks, despite their high intake (I got about 80k in 1 colony alone, and about 40k in the other 2, with about a total of 45k in my 2 producing colonies).

My extra wood lately is going to donating to the island. So I'm always open for that stuff. But maybe you should it to someone who could use it more for building upgrades.
Getting the 6th town, in my opinion, is really tough, especially with only 1 marble colony (damn fate and making my capital a sulfur colony!). I could only begin to imagine how bad getting 7 or 8 towns is, even with 2 marble colonies. =/
ANyways, I got some glass and some wine to spare, anyone willing to trade me marble? Delicious yummy marble..

Well, it depemds. Either you will have to tough it out and create your next colony on marbleland, or you will need to abandon sulfur as early as possible to keep the loses lower than they would be in a month. Or two or three.
Its a iffy situation though. On one had, you're absolutley right. Many hours of resource collection go to waste. On the other hand, the more you will want to expand down the road, the slower it will be. 88k of glass with one colony sucks, but if I take about 3 weeks to upgrade a GRbecause of glass, you will take that and 50% more because you need 50% more marble than glass. Your bottleneck is more severe because you need more marble compared to glass and wine. How many GRs have you already upgraded for the next colony? I'm close to being able to make another colony soon, and I will be able to do it quicker overall than you because of that. Come the next level of upgrades, I will be twice as fast than you at being able to upgrade GRs because I will produce twice as much glass, my next colony being a second glass island. Only after that will we be on the same speed again, if you're even remotley interested in my babbleing I'll let you know why it works that way, unless you already know that for yourself.
I guess you could say that the longer you will play, the more that one sulphur colony will affect you, especially for GR and Palace upgrades. That all being said, if GameForge brought out a patch that added another value to sulphur, like being needed for upgrading buildings... well, I'd be a foot up the pooper Then I would produce NOTHING while you and Sia would catch up very very quickly.
Your sulphur colony at the moment is the reason why you have a bigger military, better defense and allround different category of points to add to your own. We both could have 1 million of the same unit, you would beat me because you can create steady reinforcements, and I can't.
I guess I wanna say either way its a tough decision. I don't envy you, but you guys wouldn't envy me either if they suddenly said you needed 172k Sulphur to expand GRs after next level
I know, but I lways thought that sulfur is still needed at least in a little bit within our alliance, I can mass produce that stuff, man. So really, I could easily trade a LOT of sulfur right now to anyone here for marble, crystal or more lumber.
But like you said, I really hope they make sulfur more of a demand soon, because just for military means absoltely nothing - since 90% of the people who play Ikariam don't even wage wars, but only do measly little pillages on their neighbours.

7.8k?
Didnt expect that but yes, i can send it without problems.
Edit: Decided to send in two pieces. You know, i have two marble colonies and both have a lot of unused marble.
lol, yes, 7.8k. I hope that suits you mate. I didn't know how much you wanted, but I had 7.9k left over, so I decided to send it to you. =) I had just spent all 35k of my glass beforehand to finish my research for eco future tech. Now I'm on research future tech.

Kenzai, i sent a small amount of sulfur to get you a decent sized army.
Siaynoq, I know how you feel - I'd like to teach Ferret a lesson also. But alas, we cant really do it, unless we want to crumble our own alliance. >< And Kenzai, thanks for the marble, it'll be put to good use! *still needs to upgrade 4 more warehouses that each need 18k marble*

You have been accepted, although I had to think about it. A few times. Quiet hard, actually Not really, happy to see you again
We have moved to 99th place for Alliance scores, so that not bad
DeathMars, this game is an imbedded browser game. You build your colony(s) up, train military units, research at academies and become a tradesman. The thing is, its not timeconsuming at all, five minutes a day will easily suffice, but the game does run in realtime. Some buildings can take days and weeks to build, research could take months, and when you send cargoships somewhere, they wont be at the target location right away - but you never have to monitor your advancement more than you want.
Sounds like a pretty tight game! I might give it a go.

Glad to see some others are getting some interest in this game. It isn't the rgeatest, but it sure is amusing and fun. If you do wish to play, be sure to check out our guide, which is also stickied here in these forums.
edit: LMAO Magnum, you crack me up.

Well I joined, and I'm studying Wealth or something. Can you guys help me out on how to be good?
Read the guide. Contrary to common belief, its a fairly light and quick read and can be pretty damn useful.
But if I must, I'll try to sum it up now o.O
-Firstly, set all your workers to the lumber yard, all 40 citizens.
-Second, build an academy, max researchers
-Third, upgrade academy. max researchers
-Fourth, upgrade academy max researchers
-Fifth, build barracks
-try and get your a tavern
-upgrade town hall
Try and get "Glass" "Ink" and "Well-Digging" techs first. And Professional army and wealth. Once you get professional army, get a level 4 barracks and build 5 phalanxes in your town.
Also try and aim for the tech called "Expansion". This allows you to build more colonies

I have 1 Sulfur, 1 crystal, 1 marble and 2 wine colonies.
I refuse to abandon my sulfur capital. It'd be wayyyyyy too many resources gone to waste.
