Game is auto always online, but if you are not connected or you drop during gameplay you don't notice it all.
Yea max players is 4 unless a Black Phantom joins then 5 but its 4v1 then, cool thing is tho the black phantom can either help you kill monsters since they don't attack him or he can attack you and attract all monsters near your area to attack you.
I am on new game+ and I am just about done, I haven't ran into any new items.
Game is great, I don't think there is really a system seller out there at the moment, the PS3 is definitely the console of choice to get tho. No reason to get an xbox unless you are a die hard Halo fan, since every "exclusive" game ends up going to ps3 with better stuff anyway.
PSN: KazigluBey
I also play SF4, KZ2, MW2, MvC2, ect.

True that. I am also nearly complete with new game+, with a SL92. If you're interested in doing some co-op let me know, I've been trying to find someone.
Getting ready to play some Demon's Souls right now lol. BTW I think Uncharted 2 is a PS3 seller, but only if you appreciate that kind of game of course. Have yet to play Demons Souls enough to judge it.
GRRR!!! This game makes me so darn frustrated! can someone offer me any tips or advice? I was doing great for a good half hour, then i died because i swung at an enemy and fell off a ledge. Now i have less than i started. They are to freakin harsh on that stuff lol. idk but i have been in overly sticky situations so im scared to step anywhere, such as the two dragons roosting outside in the castle area. I dont want to risk stepping out there and getting fried, but how do i know if i can do it or not unless i try it? any fighting tips aswell?
Haha yeah it is very unforgiving when it comes to dieing. But hold steady, you will learn soon enough how to keep that to a minimum as well as when you get better gear. Whats your soul level at? If you want to do some co-op, add me as a friend and I'll help ya out.
my soul level was 19 and is now 20 I think. I am getting better, and made it really far, but when ya run out of health giving items and the darn pick axe wielding things in the mining level come at ya, it makes you want to stop playing lol. Um I don't want to "cheat" is the thing. If you helping me is like rushing in diablo i don't think i would (even though i rush in diablo :P). Help is one thing, but having an elite person do it for you is another lol. I appreciate the offer though.
BTW how am i supposed to know how to kill some of the bosses. By some of the bosses I mean the big knight with the shield. I have found that I probably shouldn't be there yet and instead went to the mining area that is working out for me much better.
Yeah I didn't mean cheat...I didn't know if you were around my soul level or whatnot. But you will want to progress through the game doing the first level of each archstone, then the second of each, then the third, and so on in that order and you will end up at the first one that has one more level in it(final). Don't progess through an entire single archstone because it will be too hard, especially if you don't have certain spells/items you get from the other archstones. As for the Tower Knight, he is rather easy but it depends on what kind of strategy you're doing whether it be melee, ranged, or magic.
ok thanks for the input. I know you didn't mean "cheating" but i was just using that word. what soul level are you? I don't think I'm doing as bad as it sounds, my anger is just getting the best of me lol. Whatever, if i have more time ill play it soon, but im afraid come thursday battlefield bad company 2's pc beta is going to rip me away haha :P. thanks for the help again BK.
My main is level 110-120 or so, I just made a mage and am level 50ish.
What I do is this:
1-1,1-2, 2-1-4, 4-1,4-2,4-3, 1-3,1-4, 3-1,3-2,3-3,3-4, then rest of 5.
Yeah thats kinda the way I go about doing the archstones. My main is around the same, 110-120 atm. I'll work on him some more until I make another char, but I'd prob go with a mage next also.

I would just level up my high level guy and get magic on him since I was going lots of life and damage for this build, but at this point you really have to grind to get a level, so id figure id just make a mage and maybe keep it low levelish to PK games with.
Also working on a monk templar, gonna use hands of gods powered up haha.
On a side note look into White Knight Chronicles, comes out feb 2nd and looks pretty cool.
For any older gamers that remember Kings Field for PS1, this is made by the same people and is the spiritual successor, having a similar atmosphere and air of mystery. Gameplay-wise I almost want to compare it to the newer Resident Evil games, though I'm not even sure why since it doesn't have guns, just the pacing and immersion felt similar.
It's really hard to fully describe the game for someone who's never played it. It's not for everyone, if you like instant gratification or simple dumbed down button-mashers, this game is probably not for you. If you like deep, challenging action RPGs, this is worth getting a PS3 for if you were on the fence (in my opinion).
edit: Oh and I just remembered a great example of how hardcore this game is. On my first playthrough I was walking up to a second-tier trainer for the first time and accidentally hit the attack button. The NPC went hostile and I eventually had to kill them. There is no reloading to fix that mistake (the game autosaves constantly). I had to play the rest of the game without access to the higher tier spells (and I was primarily a magic user).
You might think that would have ruined the game for me but it really didn't. I was still able to finish the game, yes it kind of sucked that I didn't get to try out some of the newer spells, but it was almost refreshing to have to live with a mistake I made rather than simply reload the game.
It reminds me of Daggerfall. You can kill NPC's and then you would be hunted down by the town guards and be put in jail if caught. With that action you may get access to a different guild. If I remember the NPC would be dead forever.
Too bad that game had so many bugs either wise I would be playing that instead of D2.
