PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
Heroes of Might and Magic III
Heroes of Might and Magic V
like phrozendragon Might and Magic III and V = a must. They both are great games... I would say start with the humans and then move on to the undead they rock
is it just me, or do all us diablofans have the same taste in games?
Quoted for truth.
As for Prototype, I had only one problem, and that was just a periodic game crash maybe once every 5-6 plays of the game, but I'm used to that since Battle.net games crash all the friggin time. I've got a 9600GSO card a tad OC'd, and it plays the game fairly well at high graphics, and just flies through on medium. The game is amazingly fun. The best way to describe the game I think, is GTA but you play as a Superhero with a mix and mash of powers. They're all upgradeable, and there are some fairly fun side quests that keep the gameplay going a fair amount of time after you beat the game. It is just about the best free roam game to date.
Overlord II is a fun game to pass the time. You play as a demon lord who commands a whole bunch of gremlin minions, and just wreak havok on the world. The camera is rough sometimes, but the gameplay and the game content is top notch. No bugs that I've come across, and at times is actually really hilarious.
If you like sports games, get Fifa 2010, that game rocks!
Oh, and The Suffering, while graphically outdated, is a really fun and really creepy game. Which reminds me, you don't have Fear.
Oh please, Heroes IV is why the company sold the rights to Ubisoft. They screwed IV over dramatically. Sure in V the computer cheats and it could be more balanced but it's still an upgrade. I do concur that III is the best though.
IMO from best to worst III > I > II > V > IV
I was really disappointed in IV. IV was original but I wanted the game to stay how it is and just add some new stuff. They did add new stuff, but it's not what I wanted. V was bad but IV was even worse. IV took away the main spirit of the game. The hero should stand back and cast, and creatures shouldn't be able to move around without them. I really hated that.
To elaborate on what others have said, don't waste your time with any Heroes of Might and Magic game unless it is III. It will easily outclass all the other games. Think you can still play it online as well which is just amazing back then. (Unless other play takes 9 hours to take 1 turn haha)
You don't have any of these:
Diablo 1
Severance: Blades of Darkness
Guild Wars
Diablo 3 - (Ill send you my copy to try)
Oh ok, always good to know where my favorite oldies originated from.
But, unforunately for me, I've never been a huge fan of turn-based RPGs. More of an FPS/RTS fan. Also platformers and Action/Adventure games tend to get me hooked.
In Heroes V they completely missed the concept of the citadel and I didn't feel the evil of the necromancers so much. The vampires.... LOL! a bunch of gremlins with plastic teeths and the gargoyles.... wth stone blocks with wings?
So, which games do you think i am missing?
Aside from that, I'd say Left 4 Dead, and Crysis.
How's Prototype?
Heroes of Might and Magic V
Guitar Hero III
he has crysis, top right corner
like phrozendragon Might and Magic III and V = a must. They both are great games... I would say start with the humans and then move on to the undead they rock
Battle not with monsters lest you become one.
Trine is brilliant BTW.
BOBBLE
Seriously.

Other than that, I agree to wait for Left4Dead 2.

A good game, but nothing to be excited about. This generation is fucked up? I'd say that to the games more than anything. Since 2004, anyway.
