You'll start finding legdnaries in inferno umpa; however they will likely be crap untill you hit MP 8+ and have high paragon levels. Crafting BoA items will be your best option, after that good luck if your not using AH. Can't wait till RoS and loot 2.0.

Playing Diablo since 97. I know nothing and having nothing good to say, I be a troll.
Ya, loot 2.0 is really exciting. I generally like playing alone so then it becomes doable at least.

I've stopped playing, waiting for loot 2.0 to level the rest of my chars, in the mean time I'm playing Theme Hospital, the old one, remember? ahh... the good old times
15k posts? Holy nephalem! I'm a bit sad I wasn't around back in the day would be awesome to be a diablofans veteran
You know... I joined in '08 but I still feel like the new guy on the forums. xD
I also miss when we were Diablo3.com, and when we had Speedvision, and when we had like 30 or 40 people, and they were active, and there were not 50,000 more people on the site that, frankly, I don't give a fuck about (Edit: No offense to anybody that may or may not be offended by that), and Diablo 3 hadn't been released, and we were all hopeful that it would be awesome.
I just played D3 recently for the first time in months and couldn't have been more bored. And doing that made me wanna check in to this place again but all the people I remember are mostly gone. No one really visits the off-topic or general discussions anymore either it seems.
Mostly it's all just threads about character builds, how much DPS or GF players can get. Yeah this place, like the D3 game is a sad affair. You wanna see a kickass community for a game that's going to be something truly amazing, check out Star Citizen. Seriously.
D3.com was my first actual forum. I doubt I'll find something that can recreate that wonder. :-(
On a side note, I played D3 the other day. Spent about 5 minutes on it. Remembered why I didn't play it in general. Turned it off.
I'll probably try it again here in another few months...
Oh, and has anybody seen the new update on Terraria? Nom nom nom!

Things change. Sad Link is sad...
If only I made an account back when I was lurking D:
I think most of the people that joined Dfans was when teasers started to be released for D3. Not to mention the crap tonne of accounts that would have been made for the beta key contests and stuff.
Unfortunately on the internet good things only last so long

Yeah i remember that game. I was too young to understand it but i remember watching my older brother and his friends play it... Brings back some memories.

Yea, I had won a Beta Key. I realized after beating the beta that it was fun, but it wasn't Diablo. That realization made me sad.
Oh yeah I've only seen it on youtube... Is it officially out yet? I was pretty excited for it, it looks good.
It's been out. It's helluva fun, even if I had to start from scratch. I got my Hellevator pretty far, though.
Started a new world, got Crimson instead of Corruption. I killed the Brain of Cthulhu. He was a tough sob, far harder then any pre-hard mode boss from 1.0 or 1.1.
I got a Beta Key as well. After about an hour in, I just couldn't keep playing it. Diablo III didn't have that Diablo feel that you get with Diablo I and Diablo II.

Just made my first HC SF character. I usually play SC AH (please don't hurt me).
My question is, what exactly does Self found mean? Obviously the AH and trading are a no no, but what about vendors?

Well I know that when I play self-found HC I don't use Vendors, Crafting, or Trading, and I only use what I pick up on the ground. I always play MP10 from normal to hell too. It's such an awesomely tense challenge, and I am constantly feeling rewarded because I only pick up items from killing and looting. Oh and gems are also self-found and I do upgrade them. Anyway that's my take on it as it seems the most rewarding and fun for me.

Just play the way you want, and screw labels. I've been playing since launch without the AH, but I've given and received some gear from friends (nothing too OP, that would ruin the whole point). I don't usually buy from vendors, but I don't see why not.
On a side note, I recently got my first ever HC character to 60, and he's been SF as well. Do you play on the US or the Asia server?
I was hoping it would be something like that. I suppose I'm just looking for a way where I can enjoy the game the way I want to. Playing SC with the AH is just too easy, and I'm way too reliant on it. That takes out a lot of the fun.
At the moment I play on US servers. I just started with a Barbarian, I'm thinking of going Sword and Broad with it. But that can change depending on how I go.

I guess that just goes to show that most people play the way they want to play, which I think is great.
Thanks for the insight and help maka and Mob Dylan!

Well we only played for a bit... And i have no idea what any of those things you mentioned even means ( i asume bosses).
But it could actually be nice to start a Terraria group. I know that me and Maka are going to continue playing when we got the time (right Maka? right?).
I really enjoyed it with only 2 players to be honest. But i'm not opposed to letting more peoeple in. Might be a bit of an overkill in a "small" world such as the one we created. Maybe we should create a new one that will be dedicated to a dfans Terraria group or something... But who will host it? maybe Elendiro since he lives in Sweden
I'm pretty sure this community had a Terraria server in the past... Weren't you involved in it, Linkx?
