all normal in 21 hours? It took me 10 hours to complete act 1!! come on dude!! you're not hearing all the gossips of the villagers! the married couple in tristram stopped fighting after Cain

I'm not even going to TRY to login right now if I had to reinstall I'd be pretty annoyed... just in case though I have some lube warming for later, I don't want them going in dry.
Been goofing off instead of playing seriously tonight. I got the achievements for doing acts 1 and 2 in less than an hour. And the one for punching Diablo, Pink'd and a bunch of silly stuff. Just felt like doing something lighter than getting one shot on Inferno over and over. LOL!
@graphics The language setting just says "English". Love this game, but it's pretty sad when Blizzard can't launch a patch without messing things up.
Seems I was not alone in my problem. Most Aussies that didn't get the electronic copy have had the same issue. Some random Chinese guy on the bliz forums came to the rescue though. I'm not sure on the technical specifics but I had to add some blizzard IPs or something into a system folder called "hosts".
Yeh, they need a whole other dot in their version number so they can hot fix the hotfixes of the hotfixes need to fix the patches of the patches..
Like 1.0.2.4534.21.1456 and stuff. That way you can mess up lots without ever running out of numbers.

Let me ask this. Has anyone else had weird slowness going on since the last patch. My laptop was running well with everything set to "high" and 8xcsaa. Now it just randomly slows down and starts delivering 5 or 6 frames a sec for a while, then picks back up.
It's not that spikey stuttering thing that happens when you lag and the server and client can't decide where you're supposed to be. It's just a slow, steady, really low FPS, like my system is straining to run it. But it never happened before this patch.
Edit: It seems to have nothing to do with what's happening on screen. Sometimes I can be in the last part of Act 4 with 40 enemies on screen throwing weird effects, and fire all over the place, and it's fine.
Then I'll be standing in town salvaging loot, and my computer acts like it's just too much to handle. LOL
I did that on the opening week... I haven't touched my EU char since

Just remember I'm on the EU servers...but I'll probably make one or two characters on the US servers.
