Gone are the days of the simpletons 1-10 rating system. The more sophisticated gents use a -5 to +5 bell curve rating scale.
We all know the generic system. "What's that girl out of 10?" "Yeah she's a 8 bro". There are heavy flaws in this system. Everyone is rating girls on a different curve. Some people rate a 6 as attractive, some only rate 7's and above as attractive. This is an important issue that needs to be standardised.
A basic background to the new system:
A few months ago, a friend of mine working in a terrible retail job to pay his way through Uni, was asked by a fellow colleague what he rated their manager out of 10. This woman is the closest thing he has ever seen to a troll, and that is not an exaggeration. Short, fat, moustache, bumfluff, disgusting face, the lot. Scoffed down mountains of greasy food every break she got. He, personally, did not feel comfortable giving this lady a positive score, or a score on a scale of attractivity.
So we decided that - If there is a scale of attractivity, there needs to be a scale of "de"tractivity.
The -5 to +5 system is born:
Now I know what you're thinking. You're saying "Hey, that's the same rating curve, you've just moved it from 0-10 to -5-+5". Wrong, it's called a bell curve.
Now the first thing you need to learn is that a 0 is a girl who you find completely neutral. You are not attracted to her, you are not detracted to her.
The -0.1 to -5 side of the side of the scale is how detracted you are to someone. Basic bell curve rules apply. I'd rate my manager a negative 5 as she is easily in the worst 0.5% of the population.
It is a vice versa for the attracted scale.
The F Clause:
For scores free of bias the rater should not have had any conversation with the ratee. If you want to rate your girlfriend, get out of here. Find a neutral with an unbiased opinion.

I've never been able to rate girls on appearance. They all look bang-able to me. Sure, some must be more attractive than others but my dick doesn't discriminate. It's just a hormone thing I guess. Maybe when the libido drops and I get older, I will start being more selective.
I do have preferences though and it all goes down according to personality to me. If she's annoying(aka intellectually dishonest, whiny and excessively self-centered), I'll overlook ALL physical features and just dislike her. Personality traits rank so high in my appreciation of other people that I will get turned off if she turns out to be someone i don't like. And that's coming from a guy who religiously masturbates at least twice a day during no-sex days.

At least so far I haven't went back from days ago and verified that the succubus_queen estate does consist of little more than a doll house, or to tell my Craig's List weirdo story, to verify that handling Craig's List deals alone is a very bad idea, or mentioned that I think lake bed girl's outfit would make more sense without a bra under it. Also, she makes me feel extremely pale. Maybe laying around in lake beds is a good idea, but that will be some weird tan lines.
