So tonight was the NFL draft if you're into this, and since I saw the San Francisco 49ers made some wild pick I decided to research who the guy was... not sure this has passed the Wikipedia quality control yet...
No, it is football. In America. Feet and ball are quite important in the game.

Yeah I don't know what's up with this pick, they could have got Stephen Hill who is a better prospect and was a projected 1st rounder.
Seahawks also made a very mysterious pick, a guy who was a projected 3rd rounder and has some legal issues already. Also is only usable in pass rushing packages. If they had this guy targeted all along they should have traded down further cause this is really bad value for number 15 pick.
I think the Patriots had a good 1st round, little skeptical about the Browns taking Weeden at 22, but overall glad my Eagles took Fletcher Cox.
lol, that's how out of left field that pick was. he had better turn into randy moss, or they're going to look stupid not taking stephen hill. i was in shock when my pats not only used their picks, but moved UP for once. top five sports night of the year imo, right up there w/ superbowl and champs league final.
Gridiron(American Football), Soccer, and Rugby are all forms of football and the name football does come from it being played on foot rather then on horse back just over the years some names have been made more common and others not.
Anyway back on topic of the draft. Ive got high hopes for my patriots this season. Belichick has realized he needs to get some good defense into the team and actually did some trading up in the first round.
I cant wait to go see them at Wembley stadium this October. Really wish i could afford to fly over and see them at the Gillette stadium.
The draft doesn't start until later today in the 3rd round.

HAHAHAHAHAHA that was a good one. Im a Bengals fan we have some really promosing young players, and we got a corner who is proven with a lot of potential though he has had his share of off the field trouble, and a OL from Wisconsin and they have developed plenty of good OL over the years. As for us calling football football the English invented the term soccer and the name made it across the Atlantic when the US when we were inventing football so we called football football. Soccer became the name for what the world recognizes as football, and the English stopped using the term soccer. Now everyone gets upset we call football soccer and football football sorry, but its football and the name aint going nowhere.

Yeah, I think the rookie wage slotting has a lot to do with the change. I think in the past, part of the hesitation for trading up has been that it creates undue leverage for the player in contract negotiations. Since so much of what the Patriots do to stay ahead of the league is about using their cap space with maximum efficiency (see: past decade of remaining in elite tier), they haven't been willing to overpay to move up for the right piece. Now that costs are fixed, the risk/value assessment changes and makes it more worth while to aim above the slot.

I grew up gaming without internet forums. The entire phenomenon of being upset with a game developer makes no sense to me. No sense. I cannot imagine spending my time and energy being upset about something I choose to do for recreation.
my buccs are havin a good draft/offseason and its about time lol, even tho i think we shouldnt have drafted a rb that early we had other needs i think we should have addressed, we could have got a speed back to compliment blount in later rounds, we still need a corner and backer and im not sure if there will be any decent backers left by the time they decide to address that position
