CMs have lied on many occasions regarding the battle tag vs nickname in game use. why is this a new topic?
lol what a joke this is. 30 day ban for voicing an opinion in someone elses thread. let alone, look at the reasoning...
Don't worry about it, those forums suck donkey balls.
Nothing but kids and trolls.

...while in the other hand, diablofans.com has GREAT and mature contributors such as Antirepublican
lol =D Gotta love that guy !
To OP; What Geschan said. You probably already have some history on there. Also you straight up called CM's liars, which isn't true. At the MOST they were misinformed on the subject, and have corrected themselves.
They told you something as an official source, it turned out to be false and inaccurate. At the end of the day they still lied, regardless of why they did (misinformation). Does not the change the fact that it was, it was corrected however, but regardless the act still stands in the history of CM's as a lie.
It's their job to get the shit straight, they failed to do it. Oh well? Throwing out a ban over an apple being called an apple is just idiotic. This is why I dont participate on blizz forums, it's full of trolls and bad blues. I get my info from this site and reddit It's near impossible to have a real discussion on blizz forums.
You're not missing out on anything from the blizzard forums, I promise you that.

To be banned means you've already been infracted at least twice since Blizzard goes on the three strike system (depending on severity) There is no way you could have been unaware of this. With that said you really aren't missing out on much why would you want to post on that cest pool? Trolls and flames everywhere. Anything you write or posts gets buried in minutes and the likelihood a blue will read it let alone respond is remote. I've long given up even trying there. But my opinion is colored because honestly you see it constantly if you post (or you see someone else post) something that slightly shines Blizz in a bad light and do anything short of worship them it is often locked and or deleted.

Noun: 1. afalsestatementmadewithdeliberateintenttodeceive; an intentionaluntruth; a falsehood.
trying to sound smart without knowing the definition of a word is the only idiotic thing i noticed.

Been said. Also; how pedantic. Exercising the principle of charity, I'd say he wasn't condemning the CMs as liars, but rather just saying that their word has been unreliable in the past for one reason or another. People overreact and take everything literally : /

Anyone with half a brain knows that a lie connotates some sort of malicious intent. I would not consider an inaccurate statement to automatically be a lie.
OP, get over it. It's not a big deal at all. They should ban more people from the forum. I can pretty much assume that you deserved the ban given the fact that you came to another forum to tell a bunch of people who don't give a shit about you that you were banned from Blizzard's forum.

Anyone with half a brain would ask if the evaluative meaning was intended, and at least try to give the Op the benefit of the doubt. It was poor word choice, but the definition of "lie" is debated to this day as it is. I don't think he was slandering CMs, and simply has a different idea of what a lie is. Maybe he thinks a lie is simply promulgating falsehood. That's one of the proponents of the argument over the meaning of the word lie. There's no need to ruthlessly attack someone on the basis of what could easily just be a misunderstanding.

In my opinion, MMO-Champ forums are the worst. They are really strict and their mods are too trigger happy.
Even my signature, being reduced to below 1mb on their forums so it will obey their rules, got me an infraction because apparently the text beside it added a few more KB over the limit.
