Its a serious let down that they actually think that this is a good UI. Every aspect of it is worse then the old one. What's also funny is it also has the key's on the talent calculator as if anyone is going to care what you bound them to if you were to link your build to someone.
The process was all set in motion the moment they decided to implement it. Separate teams on the website probably work on replicating the in-game changes in such a way. The changes are done: They can't just sit back and wait for the next UI to be done. People want that calculator.
I mean, it was a blow that they thought this UI was good yeah, nearly unbelievable, but that it was implemented in the calculator doesn't actually mean anything further, if you ask me.
Heck, the calculator has some improvement. I can actually see all the skills in one click.
Hehe I said in another post that I was almost certain the beta content will be release material or very close to it. Yeah Im disapointed by this shitty UI but I'm not surprised, 7 years of WoW has taught me a lot about Blizzard policy regarding bugs and bad UIs (maybe at least we will get the possibility to see every skill in one buttn and not having to deselect before reatributing... maybe).
I don't mind the UI, they just need to make it more friendly. All skills on one page, and make it easier to swap. If you swap it on the toolbar thats cool, it just swaps in the skill UI too.
I really don't like that they force you to use the pre-determined macro layout in the skill calculator. It looks lame and it also limits my ability to choose skills.
I hope they allow you to change this on the skill calc, as they do in game.

Playing a Wizard. Looking for Demon Hunters to play with.
they have to fix the new UI or D3 people over the world will declare D3 the game with the worst interface of all History !
How to swap 2 skills in any game:
1. Drag skill A icon into the skill B place.
2. Drag skill B icon into the skill A old place.
Two steps, 1~3 seconds. Cool.
How to swap 2 skills in Diablo 3:
1. Open the skill menu.
2. Click in the slot skill A is currently occuping.
3. Choose any random skill.
4. Click in the slot skill B is currently occuping.
6. Choose skill A.
7. Wait x seconds until the cooldown for changing a skill is over.
8. Click in the slow skill A was prebiously occuping.
9. Choose skill B.
Freaking nine steps, at least 40 seconds (usually more). Kill yourself.
The skill calc is pretty messed up for me, when I open the tab with the skills, the background is really messed up, and a lot of the skill icons are missing or incorrect.

yea its the same for me when i use google chrome, it works better in internet explorer
Yea i was just hoping that from the so many negative comments they got from the UI going on beta that they would at least not bother with it on the calculator. If they actually are listening to the community and are deciding to make it as good as it was before, you would think that they would not waste company time to update a thing on the website to a pos version that no one likes.
