Looking to get a new computer chair for myself soon after Christmas, but don't know what to get. I'm curious what everyone else is using (legitimate desk chairs only please, no bouncy balls or gamer rocking chairs).
Gah none of that is reassuring. I need something super comfy for sitting in hours on end, with good cushioned armrests (the chair I have now doesn't have very good padding and my elbows hurt after an hour or so).

I know what you mean bro. Thing is though, you can't buy a chair without testing it out. And still, even if you do, that 2 minutes in the shop ain't gonna give you the full picture. It's a sad thing this chair-business ^ ^
Yeah but if I have 2-3 chairs in mind (before going to the store) it'll help narrow down the daunting process of finding where I'll spend most of every day (aside from asleep in my bed).
I wouldnt look at computer chairs specifically, try searching office supply stores, they usually have some lush ones, or companies that revamp old office chairs, office chairs in general are comfy as hell
I'm trying to find out what the most comfy (and reasonable priced) office chair is, that's the point of this thread >.<

What Lioncash said is true. Ultimately what you find to be comfortable may be different than the rest of us.
If you are in the US, office supply stores are a great place to test chairs out. Staples, Office Depot, Office Max, Best Buy, etc all have a good selection of comfortable leather chairs. They'll range anywhere from $100ish up to $500 or so.

I don't have one, but I want one~
They're like $800 or something. I'm thinking of asking my college if they would donate one of theirs to me lol.
