It is difficult for me to express my level of gratitude to the Government in its efforts to keep me safe from myself.
Without the Government, I might walk down the street texting my friend about feeding the homeless while carrying a shingling hammer, distributing free pamphlets about where to buy raw milk, all while video taping myself in action.
If anyone tried to do that in real life the entire world would implode in an apocalyptic disaster. Only the State can keep us safe from ourselves.
Not sure what to add besides being utterly disgusted by our government and how they abuse power... so instead of fantasizing about killing all these people i'ma go watch some spongebob on TV.
One of my favorites is fining little girls for selling lemonade. What kind of evil devil children think they can set up a lemonade stand in america?
I looked at that one because i thought to myself "They can't be talking about those little girl lemonade stands can they?" But agreed up top, Utterly disgusted.

Not even Death will save you from Diablo Bunny's Cuteness!
I've been arrested a few times for skateboard in my town. After those few times, I just started running. It solved the problem. In fact, I think it contributed to my successful highschool career in track and field.

Because that has everything to do with laws and police corruption?
I also forgot the links where the president goes to war without congresses approval. Oh my mistake it's called "Kinetic Action" so you don't need congress for that.

You didn't know? We can go to war any time any president wants to. We just have to call it something other then war. Iraq/Afghanistan? Kinetic Action. North Korea/Vietnam? Police Action.
War? We never, ever have a war, we are a very, very peaceful nation. Now please enter the cell before this very, very kind and caring police officer kindly beats the shit out of you. Peacefully of course. And remember, he loves you, and we all love you. This is for your own good.
I know a lot of cops and I know all the shit they go through everyday. It's funny how people seem to have their phones and cameras out when a cop is "abusing" someones rights. But they never seem to have the phones and cameras when they are saving peoples lives. I tell people this all the time, there are A LOT more nice cops than asshole cops. It's just that the asshole cops are the ones with all the hours and the nice ones get scheduled shit hours. That's why people have this misconception of the police.
The "Arrest you for standing around on a public sidewalk." video shows how much disrespect people have toward cops. If it wasn't for the police there would be a lot of chaos. Let's see how safe you are if they weren't around. What would stop someone from bashing your head in if they know no one is going to stop them.
Wait...so all the shitty cops have all the hours and are on the streets the most? So....if I see a cop, chances are, he's a shitty cop right? If the assholes have all the hours, I'm more likely to come in contact with one of them. So, people have sound foundation for not trusting the police because most of the active ones are assholes? I think you just argued against your own point.
Oh, and a knife or gun will stop someone from even grazing a hair on my head.

Actually, since Vietnam, it has become a lot harder to police the world since Congress passed the War Powers Act.
And, actually, I have to agree with AegonIII on the topic of police. From the officers I've encountered, almost all of them have been completely friendly and non-aggressive. Maybe it's because I'm just a kid (17), but I've talked to many officers over the past few years and, while they take their job seriously, I get the impression that they're only looking after me and actually care about my safety. And most of these encounters have been at night, so I can understand their concern and Aegon's claims that the good cops do, indeed, get the shitty hours.
I won't go into detail as to what most of these encounters have been related to because it's family business, but I have just been walking around with friends at night and cops will stop us, ask us where we're going, ask us for our information and stuff, and just let us go on our way. I've never seen a cop go out of their way to fuck with me or anything.
Of course, you can just argue with me and say I'm naive, but I will go with my experience until a cop beats the shit out of me for walking with a broken CD case. When that happens, I'll believe everything negative you can say about cops. Until then, however, I'll allow myself to believe that there are more good cops than assholes dressed up in uniform.

What would stop someone from bashing your head in if they know no one is going to stop them.
My right to carry a fire arm.
Also I'm not saying all cops are corrupt, I have family members that are police officers, I'm saying the corrupt ones are abundant and in many cases they get off with a slap on the wrist. The cops that beat the unarmed homeless man into a coma and he died five days later, they got "put under investigation". Excuse me?
Police are not above the law, nor are they THE law, if it was a group of six citizens beating a homeless man to death would we be put under investigation? For some reason in this country it's become that we hold the police on less harsh standards than citizens and make excuses for them, and it should in fact be the same.
Sure for every bad cop there is a good one, it doesn't stop the bad ones from being hired or doing what they want though, or for ridiculous laws being passed that need enforcing. If someone attacks me I have the right to defend myself. If an officer is holding a gun to my forehead screaming "I DON'T NEED NO MOTHER FUCKING SEARCH WARRANT!" shoots me and then my dog, a lot of good the good cops did there. The fact that there is good doesn't make up for the fact our government allows the bad.

Arrest you for shingling your own home.
Arrest you for selling raw milk.
Arrest you for distributing free pamphlets.
Arrest you for legally carrying a concealed weapon.
Fine you for selling lemonade.
Arrest you for swearing.
Arrest you for asking a judge questions on his way to court.
Arrest you for asking questions at a city council meeting.
Arrest you for video taping police while they are performing their duties in public.
Arrest you for video taping a public policy meeting in a public venue.
Arrest you for feeding homeless people.
Arrest you for locking your pets in a parked car for a brief period of time.
Arrest you for standing around on a public sidewalk.
Arrest you for dancing in public.
Arrest you for reading the Bible aloud in public.
Arrest you for not giving your child medication that they have a reaction to.
Arrest you for merely linking to sites that contain copyrighted material.
Arrest you for walking down a sidewalk while texting.
Arrest you for giving out hugs.
Arrest you for farting.
Arrest you for carrying a Bic lighter and multi-tool.
Fine you for eating doughnuts in public playground.
And that’s just in the past 6 months.
But these acts of benevolence pale in comparison to the outpouring of love that occurs when:
The State beats you for being handcuffed in a patrol car.
The State beats you for not signing a confession.
The State beats you because your kid committed suicide.
The State kills you because you are homeless.
The State beats you because you didn’t zip up your sweater.
The State destroys your property because you are homeless.
The State beats you for clapping your hands.
The State beats you for video taping police.
The State kills you for getting into an argument with your mother.
The State kills you for defending your home from armed invaders.
It is difficult for me to express my level of gratitude to the Government in its efforts to keep me safe from myself.

True. I just happened to find the links easier that way. I think the evidence and reliable sources from their articles speak for themselves though.
Yeah that video is ridiculous. That cop was wayyy out of line. Threatening to kill the guy.
