My prediction for Fallout New Vegas is that the endings will be just like Fallout 3 and Oblivion. Where instead of fighting a boss yourself, you just sit back while everyone else fights it for you. Laaaaaame.
You are most likely right. I really hate games like that, especially fable 2 where it just shows an animation of you shooting the villain. I really enjoyed fallout 3 and oblivion, fable 2 was alright, but ending the game like that just leaves you really pissed off.

It's interesting how different developers have so many different strengths and weaknesses for making games. Like I really do love roaming in Bethesda's games. Despite how much some people complain about that, there is a side of me that really loves that in a game sometimes. But goddamn, the ending to Fallout 3 was just bloody awful. Walk from point A to point B. We'll cover you! Oh and also this huge fuck off robot!
Like, let me do battle with the Enclave's flying machines at least. But anyway, I think earlier this year we already saw a lot of great video games. I just finished my final playthrough of Mass Effect 2. I had to try the game one last time as the Infiltrator. And just now I can finally say I'm satisfied with that game and will patiently wait for the third one to come out.
I still haven't even played Fable 2. But I hear there's another goddamn dog that follows me around and I'm guilt tripped into treating it right, I say bleh to that! Like, I always think back to Black & White. That game could've been great if it wasn't for the insufferable creatures that you had to micromanage during the whole game. When Fable 2 came out, it didn't even seem to be well received. Just seemed like it was swept under the rug after a short time. But heck, if it's as short as the first one was, then I suppose I wouldn't mind renting it.

At the end of fallout 3 I was going so slowly, saving really often and staying with the army just because I though something huge was going to jump out and kill me. It was such a let down! Is there even any way to lose when you have a giant robot protecting you?
The ending to mass effect 2 was great though. I loved that what you did before entering the omega 4 relay affected the ending and who lives and who dies. Besides fallout 3's ending being extremely anti-climactic what you did throughout the game doesn't affect the choices you can make in the end. For example the first time I played it I was doing everything to be the good guy, but I pretty much doomed humanity (I was still worried that I was going to be attacked and I was too busy looking around for monsters to realize that there was a time limit).

Fable 2 is not awful, but you would probably hate the ending. Besides it being probably more anti climactic than fallout in the ending you have the choice to save thousands of people, get a ton of money, or save the dog.
To keep this last part slightly on topic with E3, Fable 3 is coming out. It looks a lot better than Fable 2, but I thought Fable 2 looked better than 1 and I think I was wrong about that. But since you become the king, I think, I see morality playing a much bigger role in how the game ends.
NO NO LOAD COMPARES TO THE ONE I JUST SENT FLYING THRU MY TV WHEN I SAW THE PORTAL 2 TRAILER.
Omg, this. Portal is so great. It makes you think in new terms of interacting with your environment by simply adding a gun with only two types of ammo. It really is genius.
Zelda Skyward Sword looks like it would be really fun to play. I haven't played a Zelda game on the Wii, but I bet swinging the sword over and over again is a better workout than Wii Fit.
Although I don't really like how old Link looks, but that is just getting kind of picky.
I'll be sorely disappointed if they don't being Zaeed back to ME3. He was easily the best teammate in that game. And even one of my favorite video game characters in a long time. And wow, 4 of your people died? You did do all the loyalty quests right? Even that will save you a couple more. I hated Jack.
I think I forgot to do 1 or 2 loyalty quests, I know one was Mordin and that is why he died. I chose wrong crew members to do the wrong jobs so they died. And I waited too long after the crew was abducted to rescue them, so Kelly died. It was my first playthrough, I just picked people to leave behind who were the weakest and I knew I didn't want with me, I didn't know they would die. And I always like beating a game first without the DLC, but if Zaeed is that great I may have to beat it again.
Is anybody else upset that Link is right handed in Wii games? I realize it is a lot easier to control, but you don't see too many left handed heroes. He used to be special.
E3 was overall satisfying wuld you not agree? It made me wanna buy a ps3 and im goign to do exacctly that. The zelda game was th eonly good nintendo one i saw and it was decent the movements didnt really match the guys which im worried about but thats it really.

Yeah, that worried me too, especially since it's the main feature of the game. And I don't really like the art direction (announcement of D3, anyone?), I hope they rethink about that. Didn't check anything else really, was the kinect expo any good?
Edit: Nevermind, that article of Siaynoq pretty much covered it. I hate how casual the games are. I hated it in the Wii and I will hate it with Kinect unless they do something about it.

they are doing something that old republic game looked pretty nice on the kinect i mean yeah its one of 15 games but still i'm liking it now if they could get MGS rising for the KINECt that would be freaking fun great graphics and a fun interactive experience tied up with actually amazing gameplay is just what we need.

Another article on the E3 conference. You gotta admit, those three screen shots from the three different FPS games are pretty laughable in their uncanny similarity.
What i found nicely touchinging was at the end they said something about the ATARI Debacle or the Video game crash of 1983 and 84'. I read a little up on it and i just realizedsomething It'skind of repeating itself. With a PLETHORA of the SAME concept REDONE 1 GAZZILLION AND 5 TIMES OVER, and the fact that the systems support these games more than they support the different games that have real storylines and playability to it makes me think that it might repeat in the upcoming years. Truthfully looking back on it now This E3 was sadly Bland. Rehashed MW2 only in vietnam, rehashed MW2 in MOH mode, Killzone three looks awfully similar to MOH and well pretty much i can only be excited about Portal 2 Deadspace 2 and GOW3. Really its bland same shit every year i see coming out putting itself at the forefront making all the popular kids come and play the cool shooter game that is really bland and if played for more thasn four months gets extremely boring and tiriding making you say well that sucked and was a waste of my time. Not to mention all these games that are of the exact same thing come out at the same time so when you say im bored you don't go to the other ones cause you bought the "best one" and know that if you go back to the others you're going to just be bored from the start and not even play it. I think itsd about time we see story driven games. I say shut down online playing unless its coop for 1 year and lets see how well those games do because i know i certainly did not buy MW or MW2 for the story nor will i buy MOH for the story and again nor will i buy Killzone 3 for the story. FONV is FO3 in Vegas exactly the same rehashed game with some new weps and upgrades to small game mechanics. I bet you that those games would sell 1 million and games tat are story driven such as the FF series Diablo WOW and games like Warhammer and Baldurs gate and even GW would sell in the 20 millions withing three years of release. I kind of find it patheticreally that the entire industry is driven on lackluster titles that provide nothing mor than a way to communicate to your friends other than seeing them and killing someone all the while.

They'll probably use the fucking Kinectics things to let you pet it in Fable 3.
p.s. Everyone survived in my ME2 game!

If thats now worth a couple hundred dollars, then I don't know what is.
4 people died on mine, but I never really liked them anyways. The team of Shepard, Jack and Grunt lives on!
