So don't tell Sharon I said this, or she might kick me out of OzzFest just like she did Iron Maiden, but seriously what happened to that guys' voice? I can't say I am going to complain, being a vocal enthusiast and singer myself, I know exactly what its like when people get old. Hell, I can sing some Ozzy (not like he does), some Iron Maiden (pretty well actually), hell I have even hit the highest notes of Bohemian Rhapsody during my good days (I'm serious, it was nice while it lasted, damn cigarettes). Anyhow, just having a mild throat or lung infected screws you over. I feel bad for the guy really, as he is a rock legend, however I feel even worse for his fans, especially the younger ones who never heard him while he was in his prime. I wish I could have been there myself. Long live rock, and long live Ozzy, but man do I wish he still had that voice in him. I for one get an inspired feeling when a man can sing higher than most women, and make it sound awesome. That for me is vocal skill as a man.

XD, I figured it might hold some relevance for anybody tuned into the live stream for the next 15-20 minutes. I really won't be at all offended if it gets moved, I just wanted to see some talk on it while the event occurred.

I respect the man for obvious reasons, but I get annoyed when any performer / entity / franchise / whatever continues to book gigs based soley on a name...
Even Michael Jordan knew when to hang it up...well, eventually.

Well, its not that he can't sing... He can still sing of coarse, but just not like he used to. I really hope when I get old I don't lose my voice that bad. Its sad to even think about.

i just finished watching the stream and Ozzy. I will admit he's lost some of his voice, but the man can still put on a show and I think he did a pretty awesome job tonight.

Ozzy was....bad. The arena filled up very fast and they locked people out. He did not sound great, and my grand idea of playing games while he played to distract everyone...didn't work. The lines for games were almost at an all time high.
There a place I can go to listen to ozzy at blizzcon? They have him on youtube or somethin?

Yeah. Ozzy doesn't even know where he is half the time. Him being at Blizzcon was a silly gimmick I thought. Ozzy hasn't even rocked since Randy Rhodes was his guitarist.
People like Ozzy are allowed to get up there suck and will still get a standing ovation because it's Ozzy you know. Everyone knows he's gotten older along with many other bands of his time that people still go to see, but I'll say this again... IT'S OZZY
Celebrities should know when to get off the limelight.
people would only remember Ozzy as the guy he is now instead of the Rock Legend he was.
just like sportsmen that stayed past their prime, fans (especially new ones) would only remember how much they suck not how awesome they were
