Anna Paquinn. She's from New Zealand. That's a plus for me. Actually trying to figure out if I prefer Anna as a blonde or not... Love her in True Blood. (That reminds me that's on tonight).

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
Ellen Page, in my opinion, is much better in my opinion. Her personality and humor is wonderful. She has that "I can be anything" air about her... it's hard to describe. The first time I recall seeing her was in X-Men The Last Stand as Kitty and later in Juno. For me, one's personality also adds in to the cuteness. So not only is Ellen Page cute on the attractiveness scale, but her personality tops it off.
Anna Paquin is "cute".... but she just isn't the type of girl I find attractive or my type of cute. I'm fairly particular in cuteness. But anyways, the first time I saw Anna Paquin was in "Fly Away Home" years and years ago. I later saw her in movies such as Almost Famous and the X-Men series as Rogue. I think she did an alright-job in the role themselves... but that's another topic. She's a bit more eccentric and... in my opinion, would be a cool friend.
Anyways, Ellen has my vote.
[EDIT] On another note, I don't think that image really does Ellen's cuteness justice.
How can one comment on their personalities when no one here knows them?
Unless you read those gossipy magazines
I'm not trying to troll or anything but I've noticed it a lot. People commenting on others personalities based on looks, how they dress or how they talk, etc. Especially when it comes to famous people
I like Ellen Page because if you find pictures of her outside of the movie star world, you can tell she's a real person and not some bitchy star. She wears Converse shoes and striped hoodies. She likes good music and is just all around pretty cool. She's got that down to Earth cuteness I enjoy. I get nothing from hot actresses that are more than likely bitches.
Didn't you say this was based on looks only?

TRUE cute is the person you think isn't flaming hot, but has some features you 'like' in a not so sexual fashion. Not a very good definition though.
Thank you, I'm not a native english speaker, but if that is what cute means then I'll vote for Ellen, cause Anna is flaming hot to me.:P
But I can't vote for Ellen and leave Anna sad without my vote.:P

I don't follow magazines in the least but I watch interviews of such people as they talk about their projects/lives. When there is an actor or actress that I like I then find certain minimal characteristics of the actor themselves intriguing. I do this with both movies I like and movies I don't like so I can better understand why a performance failed. (An example is Twilight - I didn't understand why the acting was sub-par and the effects less-than-amazing so I listened to what the actors had to say about the performance) This is not in the obsessive way that many gossip girl/guys follow celebrities. Moreover it is me taking an interest in somebody's profession based on their performance. Out of the information that I know I come to a more rounded conclusion. If I only went off of looks my vote would still not change. Concordantly, this is also how I assess people in the real world. I disregard first impressions as I do not feel that justice is served when you judge a book by its cover.
I find that a complimenting personality to how they look makes somebody more attractive in my personal opinion. I think that any person that judges looks or personality ONLY is doing it wrong. Wrong, of course, from my perspective. However, if that is what makes other people happy then that is perfectly cool. I just like to look at things pluralistically.

One cannot, lol In fact, most people can't comment on the personality of a person even if they do know them and even if they're best friends with them...
I believe they need to erase all that makeup, for starters.

You mean you can't? Because I find it fairly easy to comment on somebody's personality if I know them well or know them little. When you comment on something you are divulging an opinion that is based on the information that you know at that point in time.
I think that it should be known that any judgment as such shouldn't be considered concrete - moreover, an on-the-spot call.
SO how can you comment on somebody's personality that they don't know personally? They comment about what they know about them impersonally. Either way, it is an observation that is fickle, as it can change based on the actions of the individual.
Also, you can tell a lot about a person's personality based on their actions - these will be observed impersonally and may be wrong, but it does allow one to make their own opinions.
I find it silly for people to deny one's observations in something so trivial.

Fricken LOTR was filmed there. NZ rocks! I'd really like to travel there someday.
I'd say Anna.

Cuter than both put together :3
I would have to say Anna Paquin. She was sooooo cute in The Piano.
Seriously though, I'd have to say Ellen. Paquin reminds me of a really slutty girl I knew from my grade 8 class.
If I had to choose one, probably Paquin.
