To all all of those who are into tennis, the Australian Open (one of the four big tennis tournaments in the year) is going on right now and to my surprise, Nadal, now ranked number one (before he was number 2 for a loooong time) is facing a well charged up Federer (former number one for a looong time as well).
To anyone who actually watches tennis, you should remember that Nadal beat Federer in their last meeting: 6-4, 6-4, 6-7, 6-7, 9-7 making is one of the longest and greatest matches in history.
But now, since Federer is now officially cured from Mono, and after nearly losing to Beardich or something like that in the 4th Round, he went on sluaghtering everyone else since the quarter finals, beating Del Potro 6-3, 6-0, 6-0 in the Quarters and Andy Roddick 6-2, 7-5, 7-5 in the Semis.
The same can't be said about Nadal though since he had a fairly easy road to the Semis until he met Verdasco in the Semis, a fellow Spaniard and lefty, where they shared one of the longest matches of tennis history, surpassing the Federer-Nadal Wimbledon match and any Aussie Open match record before that. After almost 5 hours and 15 minutes, Nadal won.
So now, we have Federer and Nadal again in the final, and I don't know about any of you guys, but I cannot wait until that match. Both players have shown that they are capable of doing anything so far and every match they played before was amazing. What do you guys think?
Little Tommy (who was Jewish) was doing very badly in math. His parents had tried everything: tutors, etc., they tried everything they could think of. Finally, in a last ditch effort, they took Tommy down and enrolled him in the local Catholic school. After the first day, little Tommy came home with a very serious look on his face. He didn't even kiss his mother hello. Instead, he went to his room and started studying. Books and papers were spread out all over the room and little Tommy was hard at work. His mother was amazed. She called him down to dinner and to her shock, the minute he was done he marched back to his room without a word and in no time he was back hitting the books as hard as before. This went on for some time, day after day while the mother tried to understand what made all the difference. Finally, little Tommy brought home his report card. He quietly laid it on the table and went up to his room and hit the books. With great trepidation, his Mom looked at it and to her surprise, little Tommy got an A in math. She could no longer hold her curiosity. She went to his room and said: "Son, what was it? Was it the nuns?" Little Tommy looked at her and shook his head, no. "Well, then," she replied, "was it the books, the discipline, the structure, the uniforms? WHAT was it?" Little Tommy looked at her and said, "Well, on the first day of school, when I saw that guy nailed to the plus sign, I knew they weren't fooling around. It was the silliest incident that brought Nannette into my life.buy wow gold, I had been in my local supermarket and spent more than I should.
