You might get one of those smudging pencils from Crafts 2000 and see if you can blend the shadows so it looks like it fades more realistically. (Get some practice with it first though, they can be tricky as hell.)
Female. Anyone else hesitating on if it is a male or a female? I thought it was pretty clear it was a female but anyways...
Yes, as i said there are many mistakes in this drawing.
1.The nose's angle is wrong (by about 20 degrees)
2.The right eyebrow is 3 mm too high
3.The chin angle is slightly wrong (4 degrees)
4.There is about 10% more shading above the eyes than There should be
6. There is a little shadow missing on the left eye
5. The hair's texture under the ears is rougher than I wanned it to be
6. And there is a shadow missing on the left side of the neck...but since it's absence actually HELPED the composition i decided not to put it
But yea...you were right about the nose...wrong angle
Oh and thanks for the comments guys i really appreciate it.
I didn't even notice the nose being up a bit too much. Honestly the other stuff isn't that bad of a problem. Looks pretty nice in my personal oppinion.
As they say "Shut up, stupid". Don't point out what's wrong and we won't notice 9 times out of 10. ;D
Or was it "Keep it simple stupid..." Ehh, you get what I was meaning...
I have a smudging pencil, the shading problem is more because of the paper...the fibers are way too big. Next time i'lll be smarter and use something more appropriated for graphite ^_^.
Here's a little elf drawing that I made, there are plenty of mistakes but it's presentable.
I'm currently thinking about making a Diablo related drawing, so stay tuned.
Seriously, you take lessons or something?
Shit...and I thought I was good...
What really draws you in is the nose and the chin, then the eyes keep you. Seriously, that's some awesome shading...
The shading would have been even better if you saw the drawing in real life. I don't have the best scanner in the world so that's why...
Anyhow, i appreciate the comments, soon i'll draw something diablo related.
Is it supposed to be a male or female? (It's hard to tell with elves sometimes)
And I feel like the nose may be a little too big, maybe it's just the angle but it seems kind of large.
Very good drawing though. I look forward to your Diablo drawing.
Also, she's obviously a female.

That's what I was leaning toward but the nose and dark eyebrows kind of threw me off.
Still a very good drawing though.

Fantastic artwork. I'm really looking forward to seeing any other work you plan on sharing.
I wish I could draw. *weep*
