If by that question you mean to ask why I chose that name for my company (seeing as how I explained that it is my company's logo) then the answer is mildly complicated. It is essentially a double play-on-words. The obvious one is the irony of having a company that produces stage productions being called "enemies of the stage". This is meant to be representative of our attempt to create unconventional theatre that break traditional 'rules' of the 'stage' - so to speak. The more subtle context is the closeness to "Enemies of the State", which was a blanket term applied to many innocent people (many of whom were artists or actors) during the McCarthy era of hollywood black-listing, when many creative people found themselves out of work and out of luck all because some guy in a suit claimed they were a communist. In this way it is about recognizing the struggles of living life as an artist and trying to bring that reality into the modern age.
Then again, maybe you just meant the red symbol in the background. That is simple. You take the E at the beginning of "Enemies of the Stage" and the E at the end and put them together (one reversed.. because, well.. it looks better that way). They're on a 45 degree angle for two reasons: 1 - it looks more interesting and takes up more room that way and 2 - it's more controversial, because the human brain tends to accidentally link it with some other 45 degree angle symbols *cough swastika cough*. Controversy = attention = interest.
Ah cool, no I was wondering what theatre production company meant, I mean do you pay for all the expenses that it costs to run the play..do you guys do film?
Ahhh... Theatre only (no film). There is a different company in development for film work. Also the job we do is essentially: Write/find a play worth performing, choose director, assemble cast & crew, choose venue, pay for everything, (hopefully) make back all the money we spent putting the show on.

Not to mention that you've got Edward Norton as your avatar, American History X anyone?
I seriously saw only a swastika the first 2 glances, and tried to figure it out. Then I finally realized what it really was. Sneaky, but a very effective logo.
And if you're ever down in the California region and you need some American talent, let me know. I do a bit of acting myself.
