a Nintendo DS based Diablo title would be interesting, you could use the stylis to guide your character around, the toop screen could be used for a map and your inventory.
What do you think?

Just as good an idea as puting Diablo on the PSP. I'd like to see a DS based Diablo title. Blizzard could break into new ground with it, making a great deal more money and opening up a whole new market of consumers.
(Plus all these little kids could get out into the sun... (The sun will NOT melt your flesh!) )
It would indeed be quite entertaining stabbing Diablo with a stylus.
But seriously, it would be:
A) A new market of consumers, thus more players and with the DS able to connect to wi-fi networks, you could even get onto bnet.
Allow people to play when not at home, which is just awsome in and of itself.
C) Fits the DS better then the PSP, as the DS's stylus better mimic's the mouse then the PSP's "analog stick" and 4-way directional control pad.
On a side note, this does not belong in spam, as it is a viable idea, and very viable. It is my oppinion it be placed back into general discussion.
Well it's a better console then something like the PSP, and when you say "kid-friendly" what exactly do you mean? That it's designed for only kids? Obviously you don't play Nintendo consoles if you believe that.
Game name idea: Diablo: Rise of the Demons
It could help lead to Diablo 4, maybe be an intrude between 3 and 4. Or even tell the story of the Sin War.
Diablo on the Nintendo DS would be a good option to snap the notion that limited technology (DS currently is behind the standard console, far as technology is concerned, correct?) = Kid's Game, or the popular notion that Nintendo series marketing tactics are based on pleasing 8 year olds.
I mean *kid-friendly* in the sense that alot of kids play DS and there aren't many M rated games on the DS. Most are E-T.
Most are, yes. Most video games in general are E-T. Does that mean we should stop making M rated games? Of course not! All consoles are "Kid-Friendly". Besides, more eight to twelve year olds play Xbox's Halo then Nintendo games...
Wait... More kids play Xbox's Halo... That means Diablo 3 would draw the kiddies to Nintendo... Fuck...

Nintendo is about pleasing the masses, not eight year olds. If you want eight year olds then you go over to Microsoft's Halo and play a round.
The thing is, the majority of the Nintendo market is a family-friendly market (you know, Mario, Pokemon, Zelda, etc.) Nintendo would probably not like the idea of a very gorey, possibly pornographic game on their portable station when the vast majority of buyers are casual gamers (who would most likely not be able to appreciate the dark beauty of Diablo) or kids. Not to say that it isn't possible, but realistically, I don't think a family-friendly game company like Nintendo would do it. Could be wrong : /
Well... The DualScreen is a good idea, if you make an 8 year old play Diablo II, they will never get off it until they kill Diablo and get to max lv. now the DS, if you want to play diablo, and your kid is on it... and doesnt want to get off... play the DS Verison, i would also like fucking up Diablo with the Stylus, Stabbing him in the ass over and over again.

Actually, moved to spam.
It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.

Hm... Stabbing Diablo to death with a stylus... I'm in!

I do not mean an unnatural calmness.
