Just got done reading it and wow.
First tech book I have read. It's really good. Can't wait for number 2.
I'm not much for giving reviews so deal with it.:P
Any book recomendations for the sci fi genre? I like fast paced books the best. But i'm perfectly fine with slower paced.
I am cheese. I am loved by all. I go great with everything. Other foods hate me because I take all the glory. Like Nachos..Their just jealous cause no one eats them unless Im there. Shit..I even ruined broccili's rep. Broccili kept talkin shit so I was like. " You know what?, I think I might melt myself on some Broccilli. See how those humans enjoy that green [sexual slur censored] now." Shit...Now,People dont even touch him, unless Im all over that shit! Ahhh..Its not easy, being cheesy.. Peace. Cheese Out.
But seriously..Legacy of Blood duh

Recently finished:
Eternity Road by Jack McDevitt
Variable Star by Spider Robinson based in Heinlein leftovers
Reading:
The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan
Strapped: Why America's 20- and 30- somethings Can't Get Ahead by Tamara Draut (Sociology class assignment)
Getting ready to finish up the last bit of 'Moon of the Spider', funnily enough. Also about to finish a novel called 'City Boy' that is pretty incredible, it as a National Book Award finalist.
Next on the docket: Uprising (StarCraft eBook) and probably a more literary novel titled 'Lark and Termite'. I'm usually reading 1 lighter book and 1 more literary / 'serious' book and whatever I'm reading for classes, usually poetry.
The Writer's Journey by Christopher Vogler and a short little book by Orson Scott Card, How to Write Science Fiction & Fantasy (that last one was just lying around so I snagged it). I'm hoping to go and fetch some books on good character development tomorrow sometime during a break between college classes.
Where do you guys go to college? Started a lot earlier than me. I start class on September 1st.
Right now im reading The republican's war on science
So far this summer ive read....
Fabric of the Cosmos by Brian Greene
The Elegant Unvierse by Brian Greene
The Universe in a Nutshell by Stephen Hawking
The Founding Brothers
Cannibals and Kings by Marvin Harris
Culture as Given Culture as Choice by Dirk Van Der Elst
School starts next week unfortunately, so all of my reading for the next four months will be out of political science and psychology textbooks. Blah
Recently finshed The Book of the New Sun by Gene Wolfe, and Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. Two amazing sci-fi novels. New Sun is truly a work of art though. Some of the "twists" and ideas presented in it boggle the mind. Definately one of the best books I've ever read.
Took a break from World War Z (Max Brooks) to read Guillermo del Toro's The Strain (the first book in what is, so far, a pretty decent vampire story), after which I'll finish WWZ then move on to Clive Barker's The Hellbound Heart (the novel upon which the film Hellraiser is based).

I started today
Re-reading No Plot? No Problem! by Chris Baty. I'm gearing up for NaNoWriMo, which starts in November. This'll be my 5th year competing.
I've never heard of that before. How did it go for previous years for you? Do you write short stories or something and they judge them? Prose of some sort?
(Edit- I guess it would help if I read the link you provided- doh :P)

Not a good read for naptime, but late exams closing in.
It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.
