No worries. I looked at how much it would cost to build it myself with the components that I would want and I wouldn't have saved much at all - and I'm certainly not just purchasing this for Diablo 3. I've been wanting to play games like Crysis and Bioshock, but wasn't able to. Diablo 3 was just the final push I needed.
Processor: Intel Core 2 Q9450 (12 MB, 2.66 GHz, 1333FSB)
Operating System: Windows Vista Ultimate Bonus (Whatever that means)
Memory: 4GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 800MHz - 4 DIMMs
Hard Drive: 160 GB - 10k RPM, SATA 3.0 GB/s, 16MB Cache (already have a 320 GB sata)
Video Card: nVidia GeForce 9800GX2 1024 MB GDDR3
What the hell guys. What makes you so sure that I didn't do any research?
I'm far from being a "100% noob" (had to use quotations because I don't want to be caught dead using that term seriously). I work with computers, and I know my stuff. The motherboard and processor on my current computer need to be replaced, and my video and sound cards are less than desirable - and this is because the last time I upgraded my computer was back in 2001. I would have probably saved around 80 dollars if I had built my computer from scratch as opposed to buying this one. Big Whoop. I went through about 7 dell computers - putting together all of the components that I wanted, and I finally decided on one that had everything I wanted/needed - and I do have to stress needed because I don't see myself ever needing some of the newer processors and video cards that are available.
I've heard it's possible to install a different OS on a PS3. Since I bought the 80 GB one, I think that's what I'll do, and see if I can play it that way. If not, this computer can run WoW and BFMEII on max settings perfectly, so it might be able to handle it.
Around 2400 for a top of the line PC from Dell (XPS 630), and around 500 for a awesome 24" monitor (Acer P243WAid).
Now some of you may think that this is excessive and... uhhhh... I happen to agree with you. What the hell did I just do.
Your PC will be outdated next year, or the years after, when D3 is finally released.
Plus you could have built it yourself.
Vista or XP?
etc etc
This is $2400 USD right?
Yea, save a tonne of money

Yes, I do.
He could have built a 4870 CF system for less money than that.
