Ya saw the Diablo 3 in 3D thread and thought of this.
What if when you fight a boss. say mephisto. before, middle of battle, and or after the fight. There would be a cinematc.
Or if you were on a quest and lets say den of evil. You would see a cinematic of you walking up to the cave with all the cave drawings and what not. Then you end up in the cave to kill all the monsters.
You guys think they should do this. or any problems with it?

Fuck yea, i want to see tons of cinematics, But dont overdoo it eathier, i Like the d2 type with it in between acts, but also some during acts like say diablo dying?
should depend on how its done. having a different cinematic for each class (even for 5 - 10 counting male/female versions) its bit too much for the developers. I'd count more on the traditional intros and act cinematics. Rob Pardo mentioned the "first act" so i'm guessing its going to be about the same (only with many more acts and locations).
More cinematics would probably mean less detailed ones, since Blizzard has their set of people working on it, and they only have a limited time.
Personally, I'd much rather have a few truly awesome cinematics, such as the Acct III cinematic in D2 where Tyrael fights Diablo, or the Orc ending where Grom and Thrall face Mannoroth.

If you mean cinematic cut scene it will distrupt the gameplay. It will not happen.
Ex. 10 people about to fight diablo
7 start lagging.
Most likely such cinematics would only play in Singleplayer.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.

but an option to skip them after running the same boss encounter like 10 times would be nice, lol
