Worldraider!!! I'm a LOST freak, dude.
notice my extensive use of the word dude?
notice me with all the !!!!! and the CAPSLOCK IN LOST?
the most awesome show ever!!!
Why doesn't Umaro just use JavaScript to do the countdown? It would automatically update itself then.
Has anyone else noticed that the "Battle.net News Updates" box that you see when you log on to a server on Diablo II is now empty? They normally keep SOMETHING there.
Isn't diablo 2 already a MMO. I meen on B net i was in a room with starcraft, warcraft and Diablo players. Also on Diablo servers even though you only can have a certain amount of players in a game its still a MMO because your still connected to the people not in your game.
but I just got back to this site and I have to laugh because you guys have been waiting a while and I just have to wait 4 days lol.
MD tell me if this theory is close.
I think some people from blizzard might be on these forums and we have no idea who they are. And there going to listen to our suggestions without people knowing and come up with a Uber Diablo game
No, Diablo is not an MMO. And while that would be nice, I think the majority of Blizzard has better things to do than peruse our forums *cough work on Diablo 3 cough*

Because if they aren't, what have the remnants of Blizzard North been doing? Doodling in their books?

It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.
I haven't really been to active in these forums, but i look at them a few times a week to check in on the news, and i haven't played diablo in over a year, but this is pretty exciting stuff i'll have to admit! i can't wait to see whats going on.
I am not certain if the announcement will be made at midnight. It's been a few days we haven't been able to reach Umaro.
Ok. I'm not entirely concerned about posting RIGHT AT MIDNIGHT!, but... Where has Umaro gone? Better question, who caused Umaro to be gone? I smell a top secret conspiracy cover-up. He knows too much! Begin a massive, world-wide manhunt to find our diablo 3 messenger!

Your claim of a connection to thousands of other players is merely through the chat client portion of Battle.net. The actual game of DiabloII only supports a max of 8 players as you know, and being connected to another user via the internet does not constitue the "massively" part of MMO. So it's just an MORPG =]
- A massively multiplayer online game (also called MMOG or simply MMO) is a video game which is capable of supporting hundreds or thousands of players simultaneously. By necessity, they are played on the Internet, and feature at least one persistant world.
- However, the boundaries between multiplayer online games and MMOGs are not always as clear or obvious. Neverwinter Nights (2002) and Diablo II are usually called online role-playing games, (RPGs) but are also sometimes incorrectly called MMORPGs (a type of MMOG).
***EDIT = OMG no!! This is post#9. I must say farewell to you all as I fall into humble peasant-like retirement. I'll be back after May 1st whereupon I'll have become a wealthy (in knowledge) squire!***

just delete an old post and get your count back to 8.
Blizzard will announce that all production on sequels to Starcraft and Diablo has been suspended to allow full attention for The Lost Vikings III, which will be a fully 3D mahjong tile game developed for the PS3 and the Nintendo Wii.
Why do I feel this COUNTDOWN will be a LETDOWN?

Agreeing, because if they aren't working on D3 they have nothing to do.
