Everyone knows about the Zelda games. Probably one of the best game series of all time.
So which one is your favorite.
(mine is OoT)

"You are like a rose in a great rose field. Each rose is so beautiful to me. But if one dies... I can still look at many other roses..." God of Darkness.
Hmm. My favorite would be...crap...what's it called... There's only one dungeon. Only one room in that dungeon too, the boss room. You have to "fight" a big lamp, which means unplugging it. It's pretty interesting.
After that I'd say Twilight Princess and OoT tied. After that I'd say the very first Zelda, Link to the Past, and Minish Cap. After that I'd go with the original Gameboy one tied with The Adventure of Link.
I didn't include the Philips CD-I ones because I haven't played them yet.

out of the ones i have played. (OoT, Majorias mask, and the first one for gameboy.)i would have to say.
1. OoT- very fun. nice story fun features.
2. Gameboy link- nice story with link washing up on shore and trying to find out what happened. only got like i think 5/8 of the instruments but still very fun.
3. majorias mask- ehhhh, i liked all the masks you could have. very nice feature. but i could never beat it. and was a little counfusing with all the running around and having to get all the masks. i think i got all the way up to the gura fortress and never beat it.
Ocarina of time changed gamming has we know it. Companies who were making games at that time, looked at this game when it was released, It made lots of them bring their games back to the drawing board. That's how good the game was and still is.
It as the best story out of all the Zelda's and as one of the best game plays.
This is my favorite Zelda game!
Note: Another reason why this game is good, I seen 4 threads about this game here in the last 2 months.

I like the life I lived, because I went from negative to positive.
You know very well who you are, don't let them hold you down, reach for the stars.

Really, how did it change gaming if non-linear games of OoT type can be counted with the fingers of one hand? Point me to a game like OoT, please, I want to play it.

Corrected. I agree that it's good, tho. But not because there are 4 threads about it on a forum with, what, 30 active posters?

Hmmm...there are tones of games like it now even better in quality whys. However, back in the day, I could say the differ.
I'll give you an example that you might have taken for granted while you played the game. Remember the desert? Remember the sand storm? Not too many games implemented or did that at all back in 1996(Japanese release).

WTH areyou talking about?... the one in OoT?... or what?... What did the do in it?... make you sink?...

But that's just a tiny game element which I really don't care about if the whole game is crap with one tiny game element stolen from some actual game.
I am talking about the great non-linear system of gameplay Zelda had where you could do what you wanted. That was the really original thing about it. The rest wasn't so interesting, it's seen in many RPG's, and considering that 1996 was a new year for games it doesn't really count. Nowadays, non-linear counts because there are few non-linear games now... i meant to say, 0.
a link to the past is my favorite , i dont know, i think its much harder than Ocarina of time, but Ocarina of time its pretty awesome, Link to the past beats it by a hair
3. majorias mask- ehhhh, i liked all the masks you could have. very nice feature. but i could never beat it. and was a little counfusing with all the running around and having to get all the masks. i think i got all the way up to the gura fortress and never beat it.
lol i kno.
i didnt really like majora's mask. it was to stupid and made no sense...
i beat it tho... i had to use a walkthrough tho so i guess i cheated.
i didn't beat OoT with a walkthrough tho

Meh, don't see whats so complicated about them cause they basically come down to the same thing. "Link wakes up, owl or whatever talks gibberish, must find Zelda for some unnamed reason, you encounter some pseudo psychological events, must fight badguy"
Or you could say "Good guy saves girl and/or world."
Think you could get more generic? There IS a real story after all. But I take it your not a big fan of the Zelda series, eh?
ur avatar and sig and everything about you LinkX says that your a zelda fan.
so then i guess we are on the same side

Edit: Likwid you bastard! *Cries.* You beat me!
I loved that one too, but it was too short
It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.

To find the truth, you must risk everything.
