Just got back from the movies. GOOOOOO WATCHHHHH ITTTT! haha. Time to go post on my WoW guild's forums to har har waited outside for a hour in 100 degree temperature =\ it was worth it though!!
I didn't think it was a bad movie it was actually a decent movie it had comedy and it brought some new stuff to the table, I just don't think it on the lvl of some of the other movies i have saw
That was actually imo the best movie I have ever seen. Loved the comedy, and the action was sweet. Lol I thought it was kinda sad though that almost everyone cheered when the robot said "My name is... Octomis Prime." I watched it on opening day, second movie. It was packed. I love packed theatres, great audience

I'm kind of skeptical of movies that are based on beloved things from my childhood. It's like they'll make the movie and know for sure that most people who played with Transformers and watched the cartoon are bound to go see it. And if the movie turns out sucking, even those old fans of Transformers won't mind too much because they got to see their favorite characters of old.
I just wish when people write about movies, they'd said more than just "it rocked". Come on people. Can't you talk more in detail what was good about it?
I liked all the blatant army/airforce recruiting/blatant product placement. I feel the sudden urge to join the military, purchase an Escalade, and drink tons and tons of Mt. Dew. Too bad I already have an Xbox 360, or I'd want to get one of those too.
Apart from all that it was an enjoyable movie. There was a lot of character developement in the first half of the show followed by lots and lots of explosions. I like explosions. I think the Decepticons needed more screen time, but the lousy human characters ate up most of the movie's time.
That's not interesting though, lets focus on the fact that there were explosions. And gun shooting. Yes, plenty of that was in the movie. My favorite part was when Megatron flicked a lady into a car and she bounced off it in a comical manner. Hehehe, gold.
Like i said, i don't go see those movies to have a new view or idea on the world, i just see them for entertainment.
I'm sure that's why most people see movies. I loved the way they did that in Starship Troopers. I'm always trying to tell my girlfriend how Starship Troopers is such a brilliant film, but she thinks I'm always joking.
Starship Troopers, man now THAT brings back memories haha. I remember watching it as a kid that was an awesome movie. Action all over the place and I should go watch it again it's been awhile.
