Oh man, you could not be more right, diablo. I have hated that game and show ever since it was released. I was more of a Magic: The Gathering person, but I stopped playing that shortly before it came out.
Yu-Gi-Oh! was the mosr horrible thing to ever hit this earth. Who cares about ancient Egyptian artifacts? Not me. Beyblades weren't all that good, either.
idk pokemon that later series games/tvshow/cards were pretty bad. the first few seasons, and games were ok, the nit kinda went down hill. the first 300 or so pokemon see rather normal, then the next lot look like a 5 yr olds scribbles.
YU gi oh also went down hill after a while the first ew seasons were ok up to about where they go inside the computer, that was just weird.
i have a yu gi oh game for GBA. its pretty cool.
Who cares about ancient Egyptian artifacts?
i do, ancient cultures and even fictionalised aspect of ancient cultures interest me, so long as they arent really really really silly, like in some anime/manga, the millieum pieces werent too bad, some were though. i dont even get what half of them do
the first 2 seasons of the tv show, and my one GBA game (which is actually a VBA game its a rom), thats the extent of my interest of Yu gi oh, too many losers play it for reals at schools, it sucks when something you like has a huge loser fan base. i mean these idiots play it during school, even during classes.
although i did teach some those idiots a lesson one time, me and my two brothers (lol there are 3 of us get the reference), decided to make our own yu gi oh cards as a joke, we made Norse god cards, to counter the egyptian god cards, we made ours more powerful they destroyed all, most of the losers who played Yu gi oh at my school actually beleived they were real, mostly because we said we got them from japan, hence why the cards look slightly different to theirs. this was to compensate for the slightly copied/made up look they had. we also said these cards would be in season 4/5 of the tv show, thats why you wont see them on tv, were were only up to season 1/2 at the time.
teach you losers to like something i do and ruin it with your nerdiness. i stopped playing after this though, i watch the occasionaly episode on tv and i think to myself, "whoa wtf happened to this show, its all weird and stuff, the first few seasons were so much better"

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
Yugi is the reincarnation of Yami, hence why the look the same. just like how Kaiba is the reincarnation of the Sorcerer, Pharaoh Yami's cheif rival and best friend.
The Millieum Puzzle doesnt imbue you with someone elses spirit, it also you to somewhat switch bodies with the person, Yami is a good 4 ft taller tall Yugi.
being able to somewhat switch bodies is how Yami and Yugi defeated Maximillian Pegasus in Season 1, Pegasus' millenium eye, allows him to read peoples mind and see what they are thinking, or thinking of doing. Yami and Yugi countered this by switching back and forth between each other, thus Pegasus couldntuse his skill, as they are two people, switching between people threw pegasus off. Yugi had to trust that Yami would draw the right card out of the deck to finish his plan, which he did. the constant switching back and forth is what won the day.

Millenium eye is cool, but like i said above it does have one weakness.
Kaiba is pretty stuck up, but he has Blue Eye Ultimate Dragon.
that thing kicks ass, esp if you have the cyberstein card. whos special ability is special summon a fusion monster like Ble eye ultimate dragon. hell of a lot easier than getting 3 blue eyes white dragons on the field and using the fusion card on them. so you lose 5000 HP big whoop. for 4500 ATK i do that all the time.

most cards work the same in the show as they do in the game. sep for cyberstein, he isnt in the show.

Actually, Yu-Gi-Oh is far from dying out. It sells quite a bit, both cards and video games.
One good indicator that a franchise is successful is that their computer games suck. I mean, look at the game Power of Chaos. The AI is stupid, and the only thing you do in it is to collect cards to beat the stupid AI. Except for in the last one where you can LAN with it.

I never really liked the cards, more the show. The cards are hard to find someone else to play with. And then you will look like a nerd asking people if they play Yu-Gi-Oh!.
By the way, what I meant earlier was Toon BEWD is far better than BEWD, elfen. Exodia rules all anyway.
oh right yeh Toon DEWD, but you need toon world card first.
and with having 3 BEWDs, i have more chance of pulling out a BEWD, than i do of pulling out TBEWD.

been a while but isnt it an automatic win if you put all 5 pieces of Exodia the exiled one together?

Yup. I don't think that applies to the three legendary guys though. If you put all of them together, the only possible way to win is with Exodia and a Change of Heart card.
or rageki, mirror force, or other magic/trap cards that kills all of your opponents monster cards.
trap hole, instantly kill a monsterwith over 1000 ATK the instant its summoned. not a bad card.
the god cards are insane but your chances or actually using any of them is pretty limited.
i have one yu gi oh VBA game and you cant even use the god cards

Winged Dragon of Ra, Slyfer the Sky-Dragon and Obelisk the Tormentor
I've never played the game for real, but isn't it illegal to use those three cards in tournaments?
And if you are to believe the shows, trap cards and Exodia can't do jack squat against a single one of them.
(Man, I can't believe I know this crap. I could have done something contructive with the time it took to learn this.)

Kaiba is a rich stuck up kid, but his little brother is cool.
