the ones that block websites. my school blocks like every proxy and every site. even the good ones that arent morally bad or anything. comments. Does your school do this?
i think often "web Marshall" type programs search sites for offensive content, words like penis, anal, vagina, and block them, thinking it to be offsenive and a porn site, even if it isnt, but someone who works with the program gets the list of the blocked sites, searches thru them and unblocks any sites it might have blocked by accident. occasionally my tech blocks this site for a few hours at a time.

Yup, our school does that too, but most of the time we can just search on Google and and get the cached version of it. Either our school is really poor or it's a major flaw.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
they "firewall" porn sites, because there are many ways around firewalls. there are blockers however that block you if it reads that the website have key words such as pussy, cock, etc. penis is used in forums, *like this one* so it is usually allowed. mostly the more dirty words, words that people usually find extremely offensive, or in bad taste such as cunt, snatch etc.
You have just blocked all web Marshall users from viewing this site.
lol you did read the rest of that point. that someone will allow this site after the see its not porn.

My school district uses WebSense, and they don't block this site, but they block a ton of good, harmless sites. Lately they've begun to add a lot more sites, though, and label them "Message Boards and Clubs". Hopefully they don't find this site, or all my in-school surfiing will be limited to what flows into my inbox...

Make it idiot-proof and somone will make a better idiot.
Depends on to what it is referring. Verb = To Catch.
Noun = Something else
But its the slang term thats offensive, not the regular one.
Like bitch. Used properly, not offensive at all. Used colloquially (as slang) its considered rude/offensive.
Noun - a catch.
But the slang term is # 13 in, say, dict.com, therefore, for a school firewall to make it illegal would be kind of dumb, because most of the time it is a non-slang term.
Bitch is used as a dog term more rarely than as an "insult". But snatch - I heard that word from everybody in the catch context lots of times, in the rude one - never.

Not in a school.
All those words mean "to catch, to snatch, to get hold of" when translated back into English.
