no i dont think demons would be fallen angels... but since angels can fall to the darkside, would it be possible for a demon to be raised to the light?

yes demons are fallen angels according to the bible if you mean by those standards, and im not sure but i think once (according to the bible) God finally KICKED out satan from the heavens ( the war for humankind had already begun but god never kicked out satan immediately and they could still roam the high heavens), and all of his followers they could no longer convert back.but before then, which was a long time the demons could still come back. for example i believe when some angels lusted after human women, came and created the nephalem (omfg i cant spell tht word!!!and its pissing me off!!!!!), repented and i think they got away with it, but after that he restricted them from interacting with humans directly again, but didn't deny them to turn back. so ya, according to the bible they can

In order to answer the question "Do Angels Exsist?" one must define the term "Angel". Is an angel a young man/lady in a white dress playing a harp? Or is Tyreal a better example of an angel? Do angels have to be good, or can they be bad as well?
A majority of the world is one Abrahamic tradition or another, so we shall take that path today. In the begining, there was a battle between God and his most trusted servant, Lucifer. Lucifer took one third of all of the angels and attacked God. Naturally God won the battle, and thrust Lucifer down into the pits of what is today known as Hell. This is the story of the Abrahamic religions' answer to how Lucifer became the Devil. It is clear that by looking at this story, an Angel can be turned what is commonly known as "evil." This means that the idea of a man or a woman in a long white dress playing a harp is not completely true, and leans more towards Tyreal-style Angels. So let us continue.
Many people have claimed to of seen angels, however, a majority of such sightings are strangely similar to movies that said people have seen. Thus, we can conclude that there is no current day known sightings of what we refer to as angels. (Of course, this does not include the unknown sightings. But that is for another day.) So then angels would have to be "not of this world", as the saying goes. IE, not a carbon based life form, dependant on the same things that we humans would be. Thusly there is no way to conclude whether or not any angelic lifeforms, whether "good" or "bad" exsist.

I'm tired of those questions where people ask you if you think something is real or not. Think about it, if you can imagine something, then it can exist. The real question isn't whether it exists, but what is it exactly and how can it exist. Concretly, no one has never seen an angel, but yet they still exists. They are at least in our minds and they can thus be even brought to life like on a computer.
Gosh, of course angels are real, any of you has never played to Diablo 2 :P.
I thought Lucifer was thrown under the surface of Earth, but somehow he managed to escape and curse human kind with the apple.
Is hell considered to be part of the universe as for instance the circles of heaven separated by castes of angels and the like, so there are several levels of hell for different types of sinners and is somewhere other than under earth's surface, because I'm starting to get mixed up between several books.
It' s been a long time since we had to read the Bible in school.

Where are Barbarians originally from? Sumeria, or more specifically Mesopotamia, AKA Europe. Think the Alps and the Pyrenees

1) In refrence to Lucifer, there are countless versions, both you and I are most likely correct.
2) If you live in America, you should not have to read any religious texts. If you do, contact the ACLU imidiately.
3) Saying that the Bible is the oldest and most well preserved piece of history is a load. There are countless versions of the Bible saying countless things that oppose each other. That, and the simple fact that there are many reading articles that date in BC, let alone before the Jews, shows that the Bible is a recent book that just came to be in the last 15 to 17 centuries. Thus, it is not the oldest piece of "history" either. And might I add that the Bible has been provenwrong on countless points. (Note that this is not an attack on the Bible, nor is it an attack on Christians.)
Now, back on topic, fact is that there is no way to scientifically prove that there are being known as angels. Niether harp wielding angels ala Cupid, nor sword wielding angels ala Tyreal. Each person must make there own descision, while keeping an open mind to other's points of view. To do otherwise would be folly.
Now, begin the flames on my oppinion in three, two, one, now.

Well the dead sea scrolls were before 100 CE...which are parts of the bible. Though, I agree that it's not the oldest. Off the top of my head I can think of the Book of the Dead from Egypt as being older, though I'm not positive about it.

The Bible was put together by a group in the Catholic church about 1500 years ago. They choose which books would go in the Bible and which books would not. Thus the Bible was born. There are many books that were around predating the Bible. Shoot, the Jewish Torah predates it easily, as does most Egyptian scripts. Even most Greecian scripts are older then the Bible.
But the farse that is the Bible is not the subject of the thread, so if you would please, may we return to Angels?

First off the bible is not the oldest and most well preserved piece of history we have. The Indians (dot not feather) wrote books that date back long before the bible not to mention stories that where carved into stone long before paper came around. And it has been changed by so many people throughout history how can you say it’s well preserved? Secondly a lot of ancient stories had foot in fact and in fiction such as the story of Plato or Socrates. Finally I never said it was useless you’re just putting words in my mouth now. I think it is a very morale “story” and sure people should read it ON THERE OWN TIME or in church. There are more important things to learn in school the how David killed Goliath.

i would if you were right. catholics did not put together the bible. Those that put together the bible FAR predated the catholic church. And once again moses was from Ur, the oldest civilization and i believe all the information we have of them is from the epic of Gilgamesh, the bible and some egyptian stuff about ur
