GT5 will be godlike, God of War 3 will be godlike, and many other games.....
I own a 360 and it's great and all but I would also love to have a Ps3 and a Wii, Super Smash Bros. Brawl is really fun. Each console has it's cons and pros and their is no clear winner nor loser, except my Super Nintendo and N64 still rock my house almost everyday.

Ive now seen and compaired the graphics of the ps3 to the Poopbox 360 and i gotta say that the Poopbox 360 graphics look cartoonish compared to ps3 graphics. keep in mind that the graphics that im comparing will are Elder Scroll Oblivion Graphics. also at least the ps3's that where at the tokoy game show didn't lock up and melt discs like some of the poopbox 360's did.
Another reason ps3 is beter is for these 3 games that will be on the ps3 only god of war 2, Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriots and Killzone.
I agree PS3 has better graphics for the most part but if you are going to compair relistic games look at Gears of War not Halo. Halo in my mind has always had cartoony and colorful graphics. its part of the game's appeal. Also The 360 has better frame rates and games run smoother I understand many people are graphics whores I am on occation which is why I bought my X-box with gears to begin with. But graphics mean little its all in art direction which is why the Metroid Prime games look better than they should and why Wind Waker in my mind looks better than any top of the line game because the art was so damn good

YUCK!

Good show- I agree 100%. Games that have unique art directions (in respect to other games) are, for the most part, what attract me. I'd throw Metroid Prime in there- not to mention its in-game mythology-type detail which I absolutely loved. And Windwaker, man, I LOVED that style. It was fresh, bold, and marginally new in respects to games (except for a scant few others... "Viewtiful Joe" comes to mind, but, well, we won't talk about that uncivilized whore of a game  )
Well, it won't be Warcraft again, that's for sure.
It won't be a new franchise either. Why put in all the effort and time and money into a new MMO with a new franchise that has no fanbase yet? What if people don't like it? It could potentially flop. They said they want to make MMO's that have a really deep history and fleshed out world.
StarCraft MMO? Very possible. I could see a very sucessful MMO where you could chose to be either Protoss, Zerg, or Terran, and it would most likely kick ass. Hard part about it is what would you do? Would it be an RPG game like WoW where you run around and quest and stuff? No - thtat's not what StarCraft is about. StarCraft is about obliterating dozens of enemies in sheer seconds, in large groups.
Perhaps a StarCraft MMO could incorporate RTS factors into it, such as starting with a small band of marines and slowly working your way up to building huge armies to ship to various planets and start some chaos. That sounds like StarCraft to me. But would enough people be interested in an MMORTS? Dunno, it's never really been done before. And another thing, if a StarCraft MMO gained millions of players, how would you manage all the armies? Homeworlds? Headquarters? Hives? Who knows - it would take a lot of work.
A Diablo MMO? Now that seems more realistic in terms of game development goes. Create an MMO within the world of Sanctuary and create groups of enemies that are easily destroyed (to prevent the 1-on-1 battles that WoW has). Run around, group up, hit some dark and gritty dungeons, fight some Prime Evil ass (that is if you can make it to the end-game content that would be the Burning Hells!). Sail the Twin Seas, fighting off monsters of the sea. Revisit Tristram for the hundredth time. Yeah! Sounds good to me!
And what did Jay Wilson, Leonard Boyarsky, Ray Gresko, and Mike Morhaime all have to say about Diablo III? They wanted to flesh out the World of Sanctuary and make it feel like an actual world. Sounds like the prerequisite to an MMO, if you ask me...
P.S. - Oh and another thing... Why spends numerous man-hours on a picture of Skovos if it cannot be accessed in Diablo III? And don't tell me, "It's to give the players a sense that this is an actual world". I think some concept art from the MMO team got mixed up with the Diablo III dev team's work...

Or it might be accessible in an anticipated expansion. But I'd like to go with your idea Sailing the Twin Seas sounds very appealing.
I said X-Box 360 due to its greater game library, and the fact that PS3 has no hope in getting Castle Crashers! Also Halo 3 as much as I despise the campaign was short'n'shitty playing a social match with 4 people on your x-box online is fantastic, I don;t know why more games don't allow that

But this thread isn't about which system has a better game variety, it's about graphics (which is a moot point right now, anyway, since no games have come out that are developed specifically for the PS3's cells' limits.)
I actually think I like that... It's kind of odd yet special at the same time. That looks like it will do a very good job of that more or less cartoony look on the characters. I like it.
Funny thing is I had completely forgotten about this game. My computer teacher is nuts over Prince of Persia (which if you abbreviate it, is "PoP"- I thought that was comical), though she's kind of old. I always think that's kind of cool- when you see older people playing video games and breaching that sort of generation-cultural boundary.
Well metal gear is good but there is no other game i would buy a ps3 for. Theres nothing exclusively for ps3 that would make me buy it.not even Diablo 3 lmfao.
me! i love all the cods except 3 by tryarch. My favourite shooter for pc is cod4 i own at it. So im kind of waiting for cod6 future warfare by infinity ward. It will be future warfare or something. Im glad its against japan and you get 2 play the russians. They are using cod4's engine so they should be able 2 pull it off. I just hope it will be better then cod1 for online. cod1 blows away cod3 lol
Well I voted ps3 cause I own one, not saying its the best but there are many things I do enjoy about it... mainly that I can play online and browse the web completely free while my xbox buddies need to dish out money. I also enjoy watching blue-ray movies on it, the graphics are quite impressive.
and cod:waw... I hated it at the beginning, but now that I have familiarized myself with the maps and how my favorite guns work Ive started to own and the fun factor has increased 10 fold.
should put 2 games that both support 1080p.
Where Halo 3 is Full HD 1080p MGS4 is only 720p. As good as it may look, its not the same.
But comparing how good each machine works, try GTA IV on both PS3 and Xbox 360. And because i have, i know that the Xbox 360 is a little better than the PS3 when it comes to gaming.
The only extra thing the PS3 has to offer that makes it good to buy is its Blu-Ray possibilities. (which may be the reason i'm most likely to buy one very soon).
Wow, actually I had never looked at GT5. It looks friggin badass!!
But you have to remember that Forza 3 is already in the works, and will be released in 2009.
And yeah, Forza does need a lot more cars.

But Master Quest and Twilight Princess sure as hell come close don't they?:D:D:D
