So I watched it today. I'm gonna say what I think of it, so that if people want to go watch it, they know what they're in for. There are some bits of information that might be considered as "spoilers" by some, but I don't think that they are.
Let me start by saying that the movie would have been far less amusing, entertaining, and gripping were it not for Jackman. There are several one on one fights between several remarkable X-Men, and one with Weapon XI, which was rather disappointing. Liev Schriber made a rather good Sabertooth, but the guy who portrayed him in the first X-Men was far more into the role than Liev. Gambit's appearance was an absolute joke. There was only one second in which I thought "wow, this is cool!" the rest however, wasn't that honoring to such a grand character. The least they could have done was bring the old characters that portrayed Striker, Sabertooth and such. It makes you understand the whole Wolverine perdicament if you haven't read the comics, but have watched the movies. It's really a decent movie, but you'd know that this character won't die, and that this character won't do this or that because you've seen the X-Men movies before this one, which was somewhat of a downer for me. For me, it didn't have the feel of the previous two movies, but was special in its own way. I wouldn't pay 8$ to see at a theater here, but I'd rent it for 3. As for how I've watched it when it isn't in the theaters yet or anything, I watched it at a friend's. It's a sucky version where - in some scenes - you could see the ropes holding the characters, the CGI, and all the special effects junk. Overall, this movie gets a 6.5/10 from me.

I am sorry, but judging a movie before it has made its way to theaters when it is actually DONE is ludicrous, thats like "Sin City" before the changed the color of it and put in all of the CGI that made it the movie what it is. If this would of been done with 300, all you would be watching is them walking around a green screen with plastic swords in their hands. and it would be a "Oh look there is nothing in this movie at all because I watched a pirated version of it BEFORE IT WAS DONE so lets give it a 2/10 since hell I don't like watching people walk across a green screen the whole movie"
I totally agree with -Mephisto's Lament- . The film was some sort of a downer. However they have managed to portray Wolverine at his best. The print was definitely shitty, but that has nothing to do with the rating. Gambit was more than a joke. He plays a totally useless role and is highly disappointing. Sabretooth has done it really well. Kayla on the other hand could have displayed more emotions in the movie. I just hope that they try editing the script before launching. Cause for the current story, I would definitely not see it in the theater.

That's not what I'm saying at all. You actually took it to the extreme end of the spectrum. The version I watched was around 90% done. I saw the wires maybe twice, and I don't really care for over-the-top CGI, at least not when I'm rating a movie. I rated it based on story, content, acting, and how it generally felt to me as a fan of X Men. I judged what it is now, not what it will be. If it's like what I watched, then it's partially a shame. I don't expect any major changes before it reaches the theaters, and at best, if they did manage to change some things, it would gain an extra .5 making it a 7.5 movie, which isn't that high when compared to how the other two movies did IMO. Try not to take what I said in wrong context, because that's what you did.

this man speaks the truth. they still have scenes to add and special effects and sounds.
Why aren't you people getting the point? What I saw is mediocre at best. I doubt it would change that much anyway, with the premiere being so soon. SCENES to be added? I highly doubt that.
Hmm.. I understand. What you are saying is that things like acting, etc. (things that won't change that much since they are this far into making the movie) isn't meeting marvel standards? I always preferred stand alone heroes than groups like Fantastic 4 and X-men anyway.
I won't lie to you..it was really focused on Wolverine (obviously), but the rest of it just seemed tossed in there for no particular reason..i.e Gambit .. completely ruined such a spectacular character.
A 7/10 movie isn't really bad. It could have been far better though. I personally gave the other two 9's..this could have easily been made into a 10..shame.

das is also a good point its probably going to be a really dismal movie. everyone who has seen it so far thinks so
X-men will always have a special place in my heart.

Yeah I think they just added Gambit because people we mad he wasn't in the previous movies.

Seeing ropes on people would drop my rating that's for sure.
"Losers always whine about their best, winners go home and Fvck the prom queen."
Edit: I edited the OP. That wasn't Deadpool that I meant, it was Weapon XI. Deadpool was rather cool..too girly for his own good, though.

Xmen holds Wolverine back.
Actually, I lied. I probably will see it, anyway, but I sure am not very happy about this.
Gambit is a major X Men character. You don't give him 5 minutes of shitty screen time.
Who is? It's a tad bit fun of a movie, but I was expecting something far more impressive.
