I'm sorry for making another thread for something I have posted earlier, but nobody seemed to notice the updates I was making to the old thread.
Anyhow, here is the painted version of the rogue I uploaded the sketches for several weeks ago. It didn't turn out exactly as I wanted it to, but I think it's acceptable for a first digital painting. For all of you who have been disappointed with the sketch I think you'll find the painted version much more appealing.
Some nice details were lost with the reduction so I also uploaded a cropped section of the image where you could see them.
Also, the next thing I'll make will probably be more demonic, and less clean. Although, I can't really tell you when will that be since I have a huge amount of college work to finish first.
That's really great. I like the slightly arrogant grin, if that's what it's supposed to be. Very nice form- she isn't a porn star like all the other girls in video games.
I like it. Just seems a little clean to me (if you know what I mean). Very smooth and without a lot of texture. It's good in the sense that I can clearly tell what it is, but I don't yet believe that it's real. Work on putting some subtle texture in there (like in her pants, for example) and the painting would become a LOT more realistic.

I know what you mean, I think the same thing. Yes she's clean and a little too smooth. Texture is something I have to work on in this painting.

ahh u used painter? voxorb u used photshop for painting beofre? i neveer used painter i wonder how it differs for painting?? is it good?
Well, I never used photoshop for painting so I can't really compare them. But painter has some unique features such as the mixing palette, as well as a wider choice of brushes/textures and other features like the impasto effect, the watercolor system and etc.

only bit i dont like though is the size of the sword (too small imo, width wise) and her arms look too small. its diablo here and every warrior who fights needs to be tough which means more muscle.

Professionals often use both in fact.
